The Pupu and Humu Incident-Solving DanceIse Daiki

This is the theme song of Butt Detective, which is hugely popular as both a book and an anime.
The chorus just repeats the same phrase, but it’s the part you most want to sing.
It’s a mysterious melody that makes you want to shake your butt along with it.
It’s simply a fun song to listen to.
It might be difficult to use for children’s play routines or choral singing, but it could work well as background music for a fun time.
Peep-peep, pao!Kimura Kaera

Kaela Kimura is in charge of the new opening theme for the anime Hanakappa, currently airing on NHK Educational TV (E-Tele).
This work, filled with happiness and fun, portrays the children’s stories set in Hanahana Land through an exciting melody and heartwarming lyrics.
Incorporating memorable melodies she created in her childhood, the song is packed with Kaela Kimura’s passion for music.
Beloved as the new opening theme for Hanakappa since November 2024, it is also slated to be included in Kaela Kimura’s 20th-anniversary album, “KAELA KIMURA 20th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL BOX.” It’s perfect for morning gatherings at nursery schools and kindergartens, as well as for singing and dancing together with children.
Curious GeorgeIwasaki Yoshimi

You might be a bit taken aback at first, since it starts off like a jazz tune, but once the singing begins it’s a fun anime song.
It has a vibe like children’s Western pop.
The melody naturally makes you keep time with your body, so it could be handy as a eurhythmics piece, too.
The lyrics, which invite you to head out in search of thrilling, heart-pounding adventures, are sure to delight children.

DoraemonHoshino Gen

It’s a song from Doraemon that everyone loves.
It first played as the theme song for the movie “Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Treasure Island,” and later it was also used as the opening theme for the TV broadcast of “Doraemon.” The “tan-tta-ta-ta, tan, tan” rhythm is very gentle and makes it easy to clap along, which is a distinctive feature.
I think it’s the perfect song for everyone to dance and sing together.
Since the tempo picks up toward the latter half, it’s also great as a track for running races.
With my favorite Doraemon song alongside me, I feel like I can do anything!
Only One StoryZEROBASEONE

A song that gives you a push toward dreams and adventure has been airing as the opening theme for the TV anime “Pokémon” since October 2024.
With hopeful lyrics and a catchy melody, it carries a message of believing in yourself and moving forward.
As ZEROBASEONE’s first anime tie-in, this heartwarming track is perfect for singing along with kids.
The lyrics, which express anticipation and excitement for the future, resonate with children and give them the courage to walk forward as themselves.
It’s an ideal song to enjoy together with kids, so be sure to sing, dance, and have fun with them!
That’s good too.kocchi no kento
This piece was specially written as the ending theme for NHK Educational TV’s “The Wakey Show.” It’s a track released by Kocchinoken-to in May 2025 and is also included on the EP “Kekka All Right EP.” Set to a light, marching-style rhythm, it carries a warmly affirming message that wholly embraces being yourself and celebrating differences.
Its upbeat, morning-friendly vibe and its encouragement of children’s “likes” make it a perfect listen for Children’s Day, when we wish for their healthy growth.
In the program, the characters called the Wakeys also sing, and it’s fun for parents and kids to enjoy together by copying the choreography.
Let’s celebrate Tango no Sekku with gentle hearts that embrace diversity.
Even one carrotnagira kenichi

This is the classic song “Ippon Demo Ninjin,” born from the show Hirake! Ponkikki, where you can uniquely learn numbers and how to count things.
It’s sung by Kenichi Nagira, who’s also active as a folk singer and a TV personality.
His warm, conversational singing voice meshes perfectly with the comical lyrics, doesn’t it? For those who watched the show back in the day, it’s probably a very familiar tune.
It was included as the B-side to the single “Oyoge! Taiyaki-kun,” which became a record-breaking hit in 1975.
