Stocking ornament-style advent calendar

I’ll show you how to make a cute tapestry-style advent calendar that you can create just by adding ornaments! What you’ll need: a Christmas tree tapestry, sock-shaped ornaments for each date, candies, and safety pins.
Add numbers to the Christmas tree tapestry and put candies in the sock ornaments.
Attach safety pins to the ornaments and pin them to the dates on the tapestry—and you’re done! The socks look adorable even if you make them from origami or wrapping paper, so that’s highly recommended.
book-type calendar

Book-style advent calendars are so cute, aren’t they? You can buy them, but why not try making one yourself in your favorite design? The process is easier than you’d think.
For the outer cover, place and glue three pieces of thick paper—front cover, spine, and back cover—onto a sheet of colored construction paper, then fold the excess paper inward and adhere it on the inside.
Next, decorate both the outside and inside with paper featuring any illustrations or patterns you like.
Make the boxes using colored construction paper as well.
Once the boxes are ready, attach them all to the inside of the cover and stick numbered papers on the lids.
Finally, attach two ribbons to the inside of the cover for tying it closed, and you’re done!
Authentic wooden advent calendar

This is an Advent calendar made of small wooden drawers lined up to match the number of days to count.
Although it does require cutting the wood, the materials can be found at 100-yen shops, which makes it surprisingly easy and appealing.
Using pieces cut from the same wood gives it a cohesive look, and the warmth of the wood conveys the gentle Christmas atmosphere beautifully.
The drawers themselves create a sense of depth, but adding decorations or other touches with wood is also recommended.
Show your originality through details like the wood’s color and the way you write the numbers.
Made with a brown paper envelope

Here’s an idea for an advent calendar using kraft envelopes.
You’ll use the bottom half of each envelope, so cut off the unused top portion with scissors.
Once the envelope is cut, put sweets or other small items inside.
Close the opening so it forms a triangular pyramid shape, then staple it shut.
For decoration, place red or gold tape over the closed edge and attach a ribbon to create a hanging loop.
Finish by adding a date sticker—and you’re done! It’s very easy yet looks stylish, so if you like simple designs, give it a try.
In conclusion
The charm of a handmade Advent calendar is that you can easily get started with everyday materials.
Try making one with your favorite supplies, such as coffee filters, origami paper, or gift bags.
Even with a simple method, a bit of creativity in the decorations and what you put inside will turn it into a one-of-a-kind, special calendar.
It will create fun memories leading up to Christmas.
