A Card Trick to Find a Lover

Find Your Match with a Deck of Cards! Set aside two black cards of the same value.
Shuffle the rest thoroughly and deal them face down one by one.
When a spectator says “stop,” insert one of the set-aside cards at that point.
Repeat the process and insert the other set-aside card into the pack as well.
Miraculously, the cards immediately above those two inserted cards will both be red cards of the same value! The secret is that you’ve prepared the deck in advance by placing two red cards of the same value on the very top and very bottom of the deck.
When you shuffle, be careful not to disturb the top and bottom cards.
Levitating Trump

Let’s try the classic magic trick where a playing card appears to rise! First, shuffle the deck in front of the audience and have someone draw a card without letting the magician see it.
After they return the card and you shuffle again, you say, “This is the card you picked,” and reveal it using static electricity or your fingers to make it appear.
The secret is to set the chosen card on top of the deck and only shuffle the remaining cards.
It’s a trick that everyone—from kids to adults—can enjoy, so try performing it at your Christmas party!
levitation

When it comes to classic magic tricks, levitation is a standout! There are various methods, but the most common is probably the “connected by a thread” setup.
You attach the object you want to float to a thread and manipulate it so it looks like it’s suspended in midair.
You might think, “Won’t people notice right away?” but if you hide most of the thread inside your clothing or dim the lighting, it’s surprisingly hard to detect.
Perfect for the finale of a magic show! Give it a try.
Did the crayon disappear!?
There’s a magic trick with a box of crayons.
You hold the box in one hand, and when you quickly sweep your other hand in front of it so the audience can’t see the crayons for a moment, the crayons appear to have vanished from the box.
The secret is simple: you pre-cut the crayons to be short and initially hold them in place at the top with your finger.
When your other hand sweeps past, you release your finger, letting the crayons drop to the bottom of the box and out of sight, making it look as if they’ve disappeared.
Self-moving chopsticks

The chopsticks you hold move as if they’re alive.
This uses the contracting force of a rubber band.
As long as the rubber band can’t be seen from the other side, you’re good.
It’s a simple trick, but it really fools people.
At a Christmas party, you’ll probably have chopsticks on hand, right?
A coin that disappears when you rub it with your palm

Place a coin on the mat and spin it around with your palm…
and the coin disappears.
Then, when you lift the mat, a coin appears underneath.
You might think the coin passed through the mat just by spinning it, but in fact, a coin was secretly placed under the mat from the start.
As for the coin on top of the mat, you pull it toward yourself while spinning it and let it fall at your feet, under the table.
If you practice pulling it toward you as you spin, you’ll get the hang of it quickly!
Magic with rubber bands
Rubber band magic is a staple anywhere, so it’s easy to perform at a Christmas party.
If you’re looking for tricks using rubber bands, a penetration trick is the simplest and most recommended.
The method is very simple, so even first-timers can learn it easily.
All you need to bring are rubber bands, so preparation is a breeze.
