Teleporting Gum Magic

Prepare boxes of gum labeled mandarin, grape, and strawberry.
Shake them and let the audience hear the sound to confirm there’s something inside.
Then, by making a motion as if you’re moving the mandarin gum into the grape box with your finger from the outside, the mandarin box becomes empty and the mandarin gum appears to have moved into the grape box.
Some of you may have figured it out already, but the mandarin box was empty from the start.
You have a box with contents attached to the arm hidden by your sleeve, and when you “shake” the empty box, you’re actually letting them hear the sound from that hidden box.
It’s a seasonal trick, but it requires no practice and is easy to perform.
Cocoa Cigarette Appearance Magic

Let me introduce a magic trick that would make anyone happy if it were real: cocoa cigarettes appearing from an empty box! The setup is very simple—just place a piece of cut cardstock inside the box.
When you want to show that the box is empty, use the cardstock to hold the cocoa cigarettes in place so they don’t come out.
When you want the cocoa cigarettes to appear, simply release your hand from the cardstock.
If the cardstock is too small, it may come out together with the cocoa cigarettes or fail to hold them properly, so cut the cardstock to the largest size that will just barely fit inside the box when creating the gimmick.
Mean Christmas Tree

Here’s a magic trick that’s very easy to do, quick to learn, and looks great.
A card placed in a bottomless envelope is held by both the spectator and the magician; although they flip it over in the same way, the orientations end up mismatched.
You only need an envelope and a card, so it’s easy to try.
The secret isn’t revealed in this video, but try thinking it through and see if you can figure it out.
erasable pen

Let’s try a magic trick where a pen in your hand vanishes right before your eyes when you cover it with your other hand! First, hold a pen horizontally with one hand.
With your other hand, cover it from above so the pen can’t be seen.
Then, suddenly, the pen disappears.
To reveal the secret: attach a string to the end of the pen, and at the same time you cover it with your hand, pull the string to tuck the pen into your clothing.
The key is to hide the string well with your hand and give it a quick, firm pull.
Since this trick works best with long sleeves, try wearing a Santa outfit and give it a go at Christmas!
Magic of moving illuminated lights

It’s a magic trick where illuminated lights move in sync with your hand movements.
Put on a Thumb Tip Light—a glowing fingertip—and show off freely flowing motions! Since you can make it look like you’re actually moving Christmas tree ornaments and decorations, it’s perfect for a Christmas party performance.
You can create the illusion of lights traveling through the air or even make it look like you’re eating them—there are plenty of creative ideas to explore.
Pay attention to the timing of switching the lights on and off, and give it a try!
Smartphone magic where candy pops out

These days, everyone has a smartphone.
Let me show you a magic trick using one.
First, take a small photo of a little snack with your phone, then enlarge it to life size.
Hide the real snack between your phone and your palm, and as you slide your thumb across the screen and pull sideways, it looks just like the snack pops out of the phone screen.
It’s easy, so give it a try! It’s simple, but it will amaze everyone.
Magic where juice comes out of a smartphone

Are you familiar with an iPhone app called ichocolatedrink? With just this app and a small paper cup filled with a drink, you can create an effect that makes it look like the beverage is pouring out of your smartphone.
First, download the app and pour a drink into a small paper cup.
Since you’ll need to hold the phone in front of the cup, try to use a cup that’s as flat as possible, and make the spout area especially narrow.
Try to coordinate it so that the drink on the phone screen and the drink in the paper cup disappear at the same time.
