Handmade Pop-Up Christmas Cards! Simple Yet Amazing Ideas (11–20)
Cut-Only Pop-up Card

The cut-only 3D card is a card where a simple piece of paper magically transforms into a Christmas tree with just a pair of scissors and some folds.
From children to adults, everyone is sure to be delighted by the mechanism.
Simply fold the card base in half, sketch half of a tree, and make three cuts along the curved sections—that’s it! Even beginners at making handmade pop-up cards can create one with ease.
You can also add gift boxes and star decorations to give the card a special, festive feel.
A pop-up Santa card

A heartwarming Christmas card featuring Santa popping out of a chimney! Why not send a heartfelt surprise card to your child, a loved one, or a friend? Cut construction paper to make the Santa and chimney parts, then glue them together.
By preparing two chimney pieces—an inner and an outer—you’ll create the mechanism that lets Santa pop out! Adding shapes punched with a craft punch will make it even cuter.
You can also have fun creating Santa’s facial expression however you like.
A 3D tree card made with lace paper

Let’s decorate a card with a three-dimensional Christmas tree in soothing, soft colors.
Fold three halved paper doilies in half with the back side facing up, open them again, and fold each side toward the center.
Starting from the center of a square sheet of colored cardstock, adhere the folded doilies to either the left or right side.
Close and reopen the cardstock to reveal the completed tree.
You can enjoy customizing the look by coloring the doilies with water-based markers.
Give this festive, Christmas-only card a try!
A Christmas card where Santa pops out

How about handcrafting a Christmas card packed with cuteness and uniqueness, where Santa pops his face out when you open it? You don’t need any special materials—just construction paper—so it’s easy for anyone to try.
The key tips are to make a firm crease when gluing the two sheets of paper together, and to glue down all the tiny parts of the Santa motif securely, since they can catch when Santa pops out from the paper.
Follow the video and carefully check each step.
This time we used Santa, but making a reindeer or snowman version is also recommended.
Christmas Bird Pop-up Card

This is a pop-up card featuring a cardinal—a bird known as the Christmas bird with its distinctive red plumage.
A must-see for anyone who wants to create a stylish, uniquely different card! Simply cut construction paper to build the pop-up mechanism and attach the Christmas bird to it.
Since the Christmas bird is designed to stand up at the center of the card, make both sides so they connect at the top.
Add Christmas-themed motifs to give it a seasonal finish!
