CHE.R.RYYUI

YUI 『CHE.R.RY-short ver.-』
CHE.R.RYYUI

YUI has temporarily put her solo activities on hold.

Nevertheless, the overwhelming support from women for “CHE.R.RY” shows no signs of fading.

This song, which straightforwardly sings about a girl’s cute feelings of being in love, always gets the crowd going at karaoke.

Nagisasupittsu

It’s one of Spitz’s signature numbers, gently wrapping you in summertime memories.

Masamune Kusano’s soft vocals leave a strong impression and seep into the listener’s heart.

Included on the album Indigo Chiheisen, the song was released as a single in September 1996 and became a major hit, topping the Oricon weekly chart and ranking 29th for the year.

With lyrics that evoke the end of summer and the bittersweetness of love, it’s bound to resonate at karaoke, too.

Sing it with a gentle, warm feeling, and your coolness is sure to shine through!

My Sweet Darlin’Yaita Hitomi

This song captivates with a friendly, catchy melody and lyrics that honestly express a woman in love.

Included on the album “daydream,” it was released in October 2000 and was also featured in a commercial for Nikon’s COOLPIX 880.

The repeated phrase “Darling” in the chorus is particularly memorable and lingers with listeners.

It’s a great choice for karaoke, as it lets you convey the feelings of a lovestruck girl—perfect to sing with someone special.

Packed with Hitomi Yaida’s charm, this track is sure to resonate with your heart!

crescent moonayaka

Ayaka, who suddenly made the disease name “Basedow’s disease” widely known.

It’s an illness in which the hormone balance is disrupted.

It seems to be a condition that can make you mentally unstable and, in severe cases, lead to depression, yet despite such an illness she continues to showcase her wonderful singing ability.

Suisei Hoshimachi’s “Bibideba” became a hot topic on YouTube in 2024 as an “insanely difficult rap” and a “top-tier challenge” song—have you heard of it? Some of my students actually tried it, and when I taught it, I felt that on a first pass it’s quite hard and the melody is tough to anticipate.

Beyond rhythm and pitch, it includes rapid-fire sections and rap parts—there are lots of elements packed in.

If you can master it, it’s a super fun and satisfying song to sing! In the chorus, many phrase endings switch to head voice, so lift your facial muscles and keep centering your pitch between the eyebrows, imagining the sound traveling from the brow up through the head as you transition to head voice.

Raising your hand toward your head while singing can make the visualization easier and help the voice come out more freely.

For the word-heavy sections, don’t try to articulate every syllable crisply; instead, let the words flow so they ride the melody as you sing.

The Fourth Avenue CafeL’Arc〜en〜Ciel

The Fourth Avenue Cafe – L’Arc-en-Ciel – JP ENG, SPA & lyrics
The Fourth Avenue CafeL'Arc〜en〜Ciel

It’s a song included on L’Arc-en-Ciel’s mid-period album “True.” People often say every track on this album is a masterpiece, and this is one I personally like among them.

The lyrics are about thinking of a beautiful woman seen at a café, and the tune is refreshing, so it’s well received when I sing it while with a girl.

BuddhaRADWIMPS

When I first listened to this, it hit me like a shock.

I was in my second year of junior high at the time, right in the middle of adolescence, and I hardly went to school.

Then I came across this song, and everything changed.

I became stronger, felt like something had been lifted, and I gradually started being able to go to school again.
