Candied sweet potatoes (Daigaku-imo)

[Delicious] 7-Eleven Frozen Food: Crispy Candied Sweet Potatoes – Easy to enjoy with natural thawing
Candied sweet potatoes (Daigaku-imo)

Daigaku-imo is a traditional sweet made by coating deep-fried sweet potatoes with a generous sweet-and-savory glaze of sugar, soy sauce, mirin, and more.

You can find it everywhere from frozen foods to specialty shops, and lately even in the frozen section of convenience stores.

Daigaku-imo is generally eaten at room temperature, and the frozen kind is super easy to serve—just let it thaw naturally.

While it’s delicious at room temperature, it’s also tasty when it’s still slightly chilled.

Pop some into a cute paper cup and add a toothpick, and it’s perfect!

ice

ice

Ice cream is loved by everyone from kids to adults! These days, new ice cream products come out so frequently that they quickly go viral on social media, and there’s a bit of an ice cream boom regardless of the season.

If you’re running a festival booth, ice cream would be both cute and delicious—a win-win, right? You will need a freezer or decent equipment to keep the ice cream frozen, but once that’s sorted, there isn’t much hassle involved.

Chocolate sprinkles or whipped cream toppings could be great, too!

stick pine

stick pine

How about serving sweet, fruit-filled treats at your school festival food stall? This time, we’re introducing a no-cook, street-stall-style pineapple-on-a-stick.

All you need are Taiwanese pineapples, bamboo skewers, and plastic wrap.

Regular pineapples tend to be quite tart, with a hard, inedible core, but Taiwanese pineapples are sweet all the way through—even the core is edible.

Preparation is super easy: cut off the top and bottom with a knife, slice the fruit into eight wedges, remove the peel, and skewer each piece.

Wrap and chill them in the fridge, and you’ll have refreshingly cold, street-stall-style pineapple sticks ready to go.

You can prep them in advance, making setup simple and keeping things hygienic.

Simple Sweets Menu (11–20)

fruit punch

[Nursery Snack] Perfect for hot days! Easy fruit punch♪
fruit punch

A fruit punch that’s colorful and instantly uplifting, with a touch of nostalgia.

Since it’s basically just cut fruit and syrup, there’s no need to cook on the day—you mostly just mix everything together, so it’s very easy and highly recommended.

Using a variety of colorful fruits makes it look bright and cute.

In addition to fruit and syrup, adding shiratama dumplings or crushed jelly makes it even more adorable.

And if making syrup feels like a hassle, you can swap it for a carbonated drink—the flavor and color will change in a fun way!

Waffle

Waffles are a popular sweet at school festivals and cultural festivals.

You can buy them online by the kilogram without baking them yourself, so that’s a convenient option.

Arrange them with fruits, ice cream, and whipped cream, and add caramel or chocolate sauce for flavor.

You can serve the waffles as they are, or cut them into small pieces and plate them like a parfait.

Plain flavor is recommended, but having chocolate as well will add visual appeal and variety in taste!

sweet potato

How about serving sweet potatoes, a dessert that remains consistently popular? If you prepare them the usual way, you have to start by steaming the sweet potatoes, then make the mixture and shape it.

But if you keep some of the frozen products that have come out in recent years, all you need to do is thaw them.

Some are even sold pre-cut into bite-sized pieces.

You could stick toothpicks in them and offer them at a low price.

Since they’re inexpensive, they’re also easy to serve alongside other items.

Donuts are something that everyone—from kids to adults—can’t help but love.

And when we say donuts, there are so many kinds: from simple fried ones to chocolate-coated ones, and even ones filled with cream.

You might wonder how to run a donut booth without using fire, but actually, there are plenty of frozen donuts available these days.

Some are fine to serve after thawing at room temperature, or you can defrost them in the microwave before serving.

To give it that donut shop vibe, you could line up a colorful assortment of donuts too!
