Easy Sweets Menu (21–30)
candied appleNEW!

A classic at summer festival food stalls! Candy apples are one of those treats you can’t resist when you see the line.
They look cute and are perfect for a school festival booth, too.
Cut apples into bite-sized pieces and skewer them with bamboo sticks, then put sugar and red food coloring in a pot and mix.
Add water and mix again, then turn on the heat and simmer for about 6 minutes.
Don’t stir, as it will cause clumps.
Once it’s done simmering, dip the apples, then put them in the refrigerator to set.
That’s all it takes to make candy apples!
How to Make Basic Chocolate BananasNEW!

If you want to serve simple sweets at a festival booth, how about chocolate-covered bananas? Peel the bananas, remove the strings, and insert a wooden skewer.
If you push it in all at once, the banana may split, so do it slowly.
Next, melt chocolate for the choco bananas using a double boiler.
Once melted, pour it over the bananas to coat them, then decorate with mixed sprinkles, and you’re done! Try adding variations like strawberry chocolate or white chocolate to make your booth visually vibrant.

Frozen cake

Many people love cake, right? So how about offering frozen cakes? The term “frozen cake” actually covers a wide variety of products on the market.
Commercial-grade options, in particular, come in many lines and are affordable, so they’re recommended.
You should be able to find most types of cake, such as Mont Blanc, cheesecake, and shortcake.
Some are even sized and shaped for eating on the go.
Frozen fruit bar
Many schools hold cultural festivals or school festivals in the summer.
Here’s a frozen fruit bar that will cool you down.
A fruit bar is a treat made by topping an ice bar with fruit.
You can make them from scratch, simply add fruit to a store-bought ice bar, or source them from specialty shops.
They look gorgeous, so snapping a commemorative photo before eating will be a hit.
As another twist, we also recommend topping “non-melting” ice cream with fruit.
pancake

The pancake boom that began around 2010 took off at an incredible pace, and now pancakes are beloved by many as one of the staple dessert menu items.
In addition to generously topped, hearty pancakes loaded with cream and fruit, ultra-fluffy, almost custard-like pancakes have also appeared.
Since you can make them on a griddle or hot plate, try getting creative with toppings at your school festival to whip up cute, satisfying pancakes! It’s a great idea to take inspiration from the menus of actual pancake shops.
milk ice

When it comes to frozen treats you can make without a shaved ice machine, milk ice is the go-to.
It’s a cool dessert that helps you unwind after the excitement of a school festival.
It’s super easy to make, so even those who aren’t confident in the kitchen can try it! Put sugar and milk in a bowl, heat it in the microwave, and mix.
Next, add more milk, pour it into a zip-top bag, and freeze until solid—that’s it! It takes about 10 hours, so be sure to freeze it in advance.
Finally, top it with syrup or condensed milk to finish it off as a gorgeous, Instagram-worthy treat!
Waffle bar

If you think “Just serving regular waffles at the school festival isn’t fun!!,” waffle bars are for you.
As the name suggests, they’re waffles on a stick, so you can hold and eat them like ice cream.
Decorate them with chocolate and nuts, and you’ll have an adorable, photo-worthy sweet! Using colorful chocolates—like strawberry-flavored or white chocolate—for the decorations will make them even cuter and more photogenic.
