This is the ending theme song of the 2016 feature-length animated film In This Corner of the World, based on the manga by Fumiyo Kouno.

The song is by Kotringo, a graduate of Berklee College of Music who was also active as a member of the Japanese band Kirinji.

Kotringo’s whisper-like vocals speak of hope for the future.

This is a track from Pink Ribbon Army, a rock band from Yokohama, Kanagawa, included on their second album “Tanpopo e.p.” released in 2004.

It’s a fiery rock number with a very cool arrangement where the rhythm flips abruptly.
