A Christmas tree made by sticking pieces together
Here’s an idea for a Christmas tree you build by sticking pieces together.
As the name suggests, this craft involves assembling a large Christmas tree by pasting parts together.
First, cut construction paper into triangles and decorate each one however you like.
Then, attach the decorated pieces to the wall, fitting them together to form a large triangle, and you’re done.
Try planning the number of pieces as you go.
For decorations, beads and stickers from 100-yen shops are also recommended.
A tree made with nuts and yarn
Let me introduce a tree craft made with nuts and yarn that’s as fun to make as it is to display.
First, prepare a paper plate and use the spattering technique to sprinkle paint like falling snow.
The way it looks like real snow piling up is sure to get you excited.
Next, wrap yarn around the paper plate.
Keep a Christmas tree shape in mind and form a triangle.
Finally, decorate the yarn section with nuts and other accents, and you’re done.
If you use nuts you gathered yourself, you’ll feel even more attached to your creation.
Yarn-Wrapping Tree
Introducing a Christmas tree you can make by wrapping yarn—using materials you likely already have at home! Try it with your kids.
First, cut a piece of thick paper into a triangle and snip small notches around the edges.
Next, wrap the yarn around, hooking it into the notches as you go.
Decorate by gluing on beads, then finish by combining it with a base made from a cut toilet paper tube wrapped in origami paper.
It stands on its own, making a great accent for your room and boosting the festive Christmas mood.
Santa made with a paper plate
To enjoy Christmas, we recommend making a Santa using paper plates.
An everyday paper plate transforms into a humorous Santa! First, using a torn-paper collage technique, tear light peach and red origami paper and combine them to create Santa’s face and body.
Next, glue on the facial features, hat, hands, feet, belt, and cotton beard to finish! The steps are fun, and the activity will surely make your child’s expression shine even brighter.
The finished piece radiates warmth and will undoubtedly add vibrant color to your Christmas wall display!

The Christmas season is coming around again this year! Here, we’ll introduce a wall craft you can make with children.
First, prepare cotton, silver origami paper, a white crayon, colored construction paper, scissors, and liquid glue.
Start by cutting the silver origami paper and colored construction paper into parts with scissors.
Glue the cut pieces in place.
Stick the parts onto construction paper cut into a snow globe shape.
Then, apply plenty of liquid glue to the areas where you want the snow to fall, tear the cotton, and sprinkle it over the parts like snow! Finally, color in the gaps with a white crayon, and your original snow globe is complete!
Christmas tree made with natural materials
If you’ve picked up pinecones, acorns, or twigs from parks or campgrounds, why not arrange them into a Christmas tree? It’s a Christmas craft idea that will excite the kids! The method is super simple: just decorate a triangle-cut piece of cardboard with natural materials and beads using wood glue.
It can look wonderful not only with natural items but also by adding materials like artificial flowers and nuts from the dollar store.
When handling glue, it’s best to use disposable stirrers or popsicle sticks to keep hands clean.
It’s a great idea that lets kids enjoy their own free creativity!

A tree made by stuffing tissue paper into a bag
Here’s a Christmas tree craft made by stuffing tissue paper into a bag—perfect for little kids.
Crumpling, tearing, and putting the tissue paper into the bag gives their fingers plenty of practice, which is a big plus.
After playing, roll the tissue paper into balls, pack them into a plastic bag, and shape it into a triangle while taping it in place—watch it transform into a tree.
Finish by adding your favorite stickers and topping it with a star! If you’re hanging it on the wall, adding a ribbon makes it extra cute.
You could also design it so Santa peeks out, or stick the children’s photos where Santa’s face would be for a lovely touch.
