A masterful performance woven from deep resonance and graceful melody—Takashi Furusawa’s violin resounds in the heart.

This piece has been used as the opening theme of the long-running program “JET STREAM” since April 2017, and its collaboration with the Berlin Philharmonic Virtuosi has produced a sound of refined elegance.

At the End of SorrowRēmon Rufebūru

At the End of Sorrow — Raymond Lefevre — La maison est en ruine — Raymond Lefevre
At the End of SorrowRēmon Rufebūru

It’s an exceptionally fine piece—so good that it wouldn’t be out of place hanging in an art museum.

As the title suggests, I think it turns sorrow into music, but from the latter half it develops dramatically, processing that sorrow and evoking hope for tomorrow.

I highly recommend this track.

Around the World in 80 DaysVictor Young Orchestra (Vikutā Yangu)

Around the World in 80 DaysVictor Young Orchestra (Vikutā Yangu)

The sound world woven by the grand orchestral melodies is filled with a charm that feels like an invitation to journey around the globe.

Under the masterful baton of Victor Young, this work—beautifully balancing adventure and romance—was composed as the main theme for a film released in 1956 and earned the Academy Award for Best Original Score.

Its elegant, expansive melodic line musically portrays the cultures and landscapes of various countries, painting vivid scenes in the listener’s mind.

It’s a recommended track for a gentle change of pace—perfect for a refreshing break during work or as a relaxing companion to leisurely reading.

CountryKeith Jarrett

Keith Jarrett – 04. Country – (My Song – 1978)
CountryKeith Jarrett

Speaking of Keith Jarrett, he’s a world-renowned jazz pianist, and I always find his piano instrumentals soothing.

There’s a quartet performance with Jan Garbarek on saxophone, Palle Danielsson on bass, and Jon Christensen on drums, and it’s one of my favorite tracks among his works—easily in my top one or two.

Canon in D (Pachelbel)Kuruto Rēderu & Myunhen Puroarute Kangengakudan

It truly has the aura of refined, high-class music.

Easy listening is often thought of as quiet music, but its famous signature pieces are all full of character and musically excellent.

While it’s music geared toward adults, it’s also recommended for anyone who wants to take things slow and linger in the moment.
