Simple magic tricks using rubber bands: 10 tricks (21–30) to try for parties and performances
Rubber Band Linking Magic

A magic trick where rubber bands on your palm suddenly link together—an idea that lets you experience surprise and fun.
The key is to use a thumbtack pin to hook the rubber band.
If you prepare another rubber band, you can make it look like they’ve linked perfectly.
There’s also a gimmick where a gentle blow restores them to normal, which is more than enough to amaze everyone.
With a bit of prep and some simple hand movements, anyone can turn into a magician.
It’s a charming trick that’s perfect for parties and performances, so give it a try!
Card revelation magic using a rubber band

You have the spectator choose a card from the deck, then split the deck into two piles and put a rubber band around one of them.
You let them check that their selected card isn’t in the unbanded pile.
Then, when you shake the rubber-banded pile, their chosen card somehow appears on the very top.
A magic trick where a rubber band wraps around your finger when covered with a cloth.

This is a trick that only works if you’re wearing long sleeves, but if you can pull it off, it’s a pretty startling piece of magic.
You place a rubber band on your palm, extend just one finger while keeping the others bent, and then balance something on the tip of the extended finger.
If you cover it with a handkerchief in that state, for some reason the rubber band that was on your palm ends up wrapped around the finger.
A magic trick where a rubber band penetrates and comes off

You intricately wrap rubber bands around your fingers, then hold down one of the wrapped fingers with your other hand.
At this point, there’s no way it should come off, yet the rubber bands cleanly and completely slip off the finger and drop away.
It’s very easy and anyone can do it.
Magic using a pen and a rubber band

This video introduces two magic tricks using a pen and a rubber band.
The first trick is where the pen penetrates the rubber band and ends up inside the loop; once you learn the method, it seems easy to perform.
The second trick makes the pen cap vanish in an instant.
This one also looks easy, so give it a try!
