Meanwhile, Nagoya Castle’s golden shachihoko come as a male-female pair, each about 2.62 meters tall. In other words, the Kaminarimon lantern is larger than the golden shachihoko in both height and diameter. The shachihoko may look big because they shine atop the roof, but in actual size the giant lantern is overwhelmingly larger.
