Glittery Shaka Bookmark

How about a handmade bookmark to make reading time even more enjoyable? You can make it in just five minutes, so even those who aren’t confident with crafts can try it with ease.
Cut a clear file folder to 15 cm long and 5 cm wide.
Cut out a photo you like, apply double-sided tape or tape glue to the front, and fix it to the inside of the clear folder.
On the other side, write a message.
Apply double-sided tape or tape glue along the edges, put some sequins inside, and seal it shut.
Punch a hole and thread a ribbon through to finish.
Try putting in photos of your grandchildren or great-grandchildren and gifting it to an older adult.
You’re sure to be rewarded with a wonderful smile.
3-ingredient icebox cookies

Cookies without eggs or butter! Here are ideas for 3-ingredient icebox cookies.
Cookies are small baked treats made by mixing ingredients like flour, sugar, eggs, and fats to form a dough, shaping it, and baking it in the oven.
This time, let’s make cookies by mixing cake flour, sugar, and vegetable oil.
You can also customize them by adding cocoa powder, matcha powder, or Earl Grey tea.
Try making them to suit the tastes of the person you want to gift them to.
Original pen stand

An original double-layered pen stand that lets you insert photos or illustrations inside makes a great gift for seniors.
You can buy one at a 100-yen shop, so give it a try.
Remove the lid, place a sheet of paper with a message or illustration inside, then close the lid.
It also looks lovely if you cut out and insert memorable photos or decorate it with stickers.
When giving it as a gift, filling it with sweets or stick-type tea or coffee is likely to be well received.
Felt Rose Flower Wreath

This content describes attaching felt roses to a wreath base to add color and softness.
First, cut felt into a circle and wrap it around a core, shaping it into a rose through the overlapping layers.
The way you layer the felt changes the volume and beauty, so being mindful of this step is crucial.
Finally, attach the roses to the wreath to complete it, and add parts like leaves to make the roses stand out.

Perfect for mealtimes and snack breaks! How about a handmade coaster? You can make it with stone paper clay and mosaic tiles from the 100-yen shop, so it’s easy even for little kids.
Once you spread the clay over the coaster, start arranging the tiles.
Be sure to press the tiles in and level them so the glass you place on top won’t tip over.
The key is simply to make it flat, which is why it’s so easy and casual to create—one of the best parts! Picture the recipient’s smiling face and enjoy crafting with your child!
A photo frame thank-you plaque made with artificial flowers
@myon_baby_diy Have you decided on Grandparents’ Day yet? Check out my other posts here 👉🏻 @myon_baby_diy ⚠️ Please read the “Notes” too ⚠️ Grandparents’ Day is coming soon 🧓🏻👨🏻🦳 Try making a quick-and-easy “Grandparents’ Day Certificate of Appreciation” with items from the 100-yen shop ☺️🤍 Items used (all from Seria) ・Photo frame (L-size, double-sided type) JAN code: 4947879375302 ・Hard card case (B6 size) JAN code: 4947879512363 ・Artificial flowers of your choice Template paper Scissors Ballpoint pen Double-sided tape Glue Notes ◽️In the video I say to remove the calyx only from the big flowers, but please remove it from the small flowers too 🙇🏻♀️ It’s also easier to stick if you cut off the remaining stem/core after removing the calyx 🌼 ◽️Be careful about which way you insert the board with the flowers ⚠️ Attach the flower board to the side with the thicker wooden frame! ◽️When you cut the card case, you’ll probably get two sheets, but you only need one 🤍 (Cutting it takes some force 🥹) ◽️If you don’t cut the calyxes and protruding cores of the faux flowers thoroughly, inserting the final glass pane will be quite tight…! Press firmly as you insert it 💪🏻 💝 💝 💝 💝 💝 💝 💝 💝 💝 💝 💝 How to receive the template: ◻️ Follow Myon on Instagram (@myon_baby_diy) ◻️ Comment on the Instagram post with “What you gave for Grandparents’ Day last year” ✍🏻 (Me… I didn’t give anything 🤣) ◻️ I’ll send the template via DM 💌 *If you’re not receiving DMs, check the “If you’re not receiving DMs” highlight and adjust your settings 🪄 💝 💝 💝 💝 💝 💝 💝 💝 💝 💝 💝 💝 Be sure to save this and give it a try 🪄 I’d love to hear when you’ve made one 🥺♡ If you have any questions, feel free to comment or DM me 💌 Memories DIY for babies and moms @myon_baby_diy ▷ Keep your memories cute even if you’re a clumsy mom ♡ ▷ Sharing ideas to enjoy your first milestones ♡ Templates available for followers only 🪧 Please follow and stay tuned! It’s a lovely, high-quality photo frame that you’d never guess was made entirely from 100-yen shop supplies.
Cut a card case to the size of the frame, and trace the inner edge of the frame onto the card case.
Cut off just the blossom parts of artificial flowers and arrange them inside the line on the card case.
For larger flowers, it’s a good idea to remove the calyx as well.
Once you’ve balanced the colors and sizes and glued everything down, secure it to the frame.
Finish by attaching a printed template to the glass panel.
You can use the template, or make it special with your own message and photo.

Handprint and footprint keychain

Keychains featuring tiny handprints and footprints are a soothing, highly recommended gift for seniors.
They’re a lovely way to enjoy watching your grandchildren or great-grandchildren grow.
Gather shrink plastic, acrylic paint, and a keychain, and let’s get started! Paint the soles or palms and press them onto the shrink plastic to capture the print.
The key is to punch a hole before heating.
Place it on parchment paper and bake in a toaster oven; while it’s still hot, press it flat from above—and it’s done.
A keychain that brings a smile every time it reminds them of their grandchild—why not give this heartfelt gift to someone special?
