Residual Heat / feat. Hatsune Miku
residual heatMIMI

This is a song by MIMI, a Vocaloid producer who weaves a bittersweet world with the timbre of piano.

It sings of hope: that memories of days gone by keep their warmth deep in our hearts and become a light to step into the future.

Many will feel their hearts stirred by lyrics that say it’s the small warmth left in our hearts that moves us.

The work was released on a Tanabata night in July 2025.

When you’ve accomplished something and are feeling a quiet loneliness, please give it a listen.

sneerkomedawara

This track unfolds with a floating, imaginative soundscape.

Created by Komedawara, it is set for release in March 2025.

The mature tone of the composition blends beautifully with Otomachi Una’s gentle, expressive vocals.

The lyrics delve into the complexities of society and human relationships, making them highly relatable.

Its laid-back groove that invites a gentle sway is also a major draw.

I think it’s perfect music for nights when you want to take your time and reflect.

KotononeKanjosen

This is a Vocaloid track that draws you in with Hatsune Miku speaking directly to you—its message and beautiful sonic imagery are captivating.

A song by Kanjosen, released in June 2025.

The electronica sound combined with deeply reverberated vocals creates a distinctive sense of weightless drift.

It’s perfect for times when you’re carrying feelings that words can’t fully express, or when you want to face your heart on a quiet night.

Tomorrow, Before I Disappear – Hatsune Miku
Before I disappear tomorrowAme Ryou

This piece by Vocaloid producer Amara opens with a piano-driven, emotional intro that really tugs at the heart.

The theme is “my kind of summer,” blending a refreshing vibe with a subtle sense of melancholy.

Many listeners will likely relate to the lyrics, which bare the desire to do something before you fade away.

It’s a perfect fit for those slightly sentimental moods at summer’s end.

Why not lend an ear to Amara’s one-of-a-kind sound?

A pop creation by Korean music producer TAK, released in July 2025, that likens the depths of life to a dessert.

Its message—that days filled with trials and tears can, with time, turn into sweet and gentle memories—quietly comforts the listener.

The dynamic sound, grounded in UK garage and trap, fizzes like sparkling bubbles.

Wrapped in the work’s sweet yet bittersweet philosophy, even a slightly downcast mood is sure to be gently soothed.

Petals, and the sounds associated with themabaraya

Petals, and the sounds that come with them / Hatsune Miku
Petals, and the sounds associated with themabaraya

A razor-sharp slice of synth-pop infused with a keen perspective on the digital society.

Released by Abaraya in February 2025, it took first place in the VOCACOLLE Winter 2025 TOP 100 ranking.

Centered on themes of feelings toward the very existence of synthetic voice libraries and the loss of identity, its philosophical message really hits home.

I suspect many people feel this way about Vocaloid culture—and by extension, internet culture.

Why not listen to this track and sink into a bit of contemplation?

My progress is terrible.GYARI

[Miyamai Moka] Progress Is Totally Hopeless [MV]
My progress is terrible.GYARI

This piece features a sound that lingers with a jazzy aftertaste and a light, upbeat rhythm.

Composed by GYARI and released in December 2024, it humorously portrays a theme many can relate to: being swamped by deadlines and tasks yet drifting into escapism because motivation just won’t come.

As you listen, you can’t help but see yourself in it and end up laughing.

It’s recommended for when you’re tired from work or studying and need a change of pace.
