Formed in 2009 as a local idol group representing the Kanayama area of Nagoya, the Kanayama Chappies devoted themselves to energizing local shopping streets and actively pursued community-focused activities as an officially recognized idol group.

In addition to appearing at regional events, they deepened their ties with the community by taking on roles such as serving as one-day postmasters.

Consisting of six members from the start, they won the hearts of many fans through their locally rooted activities.

In 2013, they released a string of upbeat, catchy songs such as “Mirai☆Peace,” and performed at regional events including the Mammoth Flea Market and the 1st Tebasaki Summit.

In April 2015, they held their final concert at the Nagoya live house SOUNDNOTE NAGOYA, marking a close to their activities.
