The Hiroshima University Festival is a campus festival held over two days every November around the School of Integrated Arts and Sciences. Because it runs for two days, there are plenty of events and activities. On the special stage in Spain Square, the highlights each year include the Mr. & Ms. Hiroshima University Contest and a comedy show. The haunted house and fireworks are also must-sees.

Poplar Festival | Prefectural University of Hiroshima (Shobara Campus)Sat 10/25–Sun 10/26, Hiroshima Prefecture
Prefectural University of Hiroshima is a public university headquartered in Ujina-higashi, Minami Ward, Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture. It has three campuses: Hiroshima, Shobara, and Mihara. The university festival is held separately at each campus. The festival at the Shobara Campus is called the Hakuyosai.

Umeno Area Festival & Cultural Presentation | Kindai University (Hiroshima Campus)Sat, 10/25, Hiroshima Prefecture
This is the school festival at Kindai University’s Hiroshima Campus in Higashihiroshima, Hiroshima Prefecture, where you can learn about engineering. There are live performances by famous artists, student-run food stalls, and sales of local specialty products in collaboration with the community. The festival sometimes concludes with fireworks lighting up the night sky.

City University Festival | Hiroshima City UniversitySat 10/25–Sun 10/26, Hiroshima Prefecture
Held every autumn at Hiroshima City University, the University Festival features not only artist live shows and comedy acts, but also lively performances on the circle stage. Stage acts are recruited from both inside and outside the university. There are also food stalls and a flea market, making it enjoyable for local community members as well.
