Message — Kotodute (oral message)Porunogurafiti

Porno Graffitti, a band with roots in Hiroshima, created this emotional ballad with a sense of mission to their hometown.

The lyrics portray the “first streetcar,” which ran through the city about three days after the atomic bombing, as a symbol for passing memory into the future, and their heartfelt prayer for peace comes through with piercing clarity.

Knowing that the lyrics were written first, and that vocalist Akihito Okano then composed the music as a prayer, makes the weight of the message even more palpable.

Released in April 2025 as the theme song for NHK Hiroshima’s “80 Years Since the Bombing: I Carry It Forward” project, the piece seems to quietly—yet powerfully—ask us, through music, to reflect on the preciousness of everyday life that must be protected.

Shake handsPorunogurafiti

It’s the single released on November 19, 2025, and it’s the opening theme for the anime My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON.

Although it’s a PornoGraffitti song, it doesn’t feature many high notes compared to their other tracks and mainly sits in the mid range, so I think it’s easier for men to sing.

The timing of when you place your voice in the pre-chorus is important, and if you raise the energy a bit in the chorus, your voice will lean forward in a good way.

Aim your voice as if projecting into the distance, and it will carry without feeling strained!

Liberated zonePorunogurafiti

A song presented by PornoGraffitti to commemorate their 25th anniversary.

It skillfully depicts human connections and the movement of emotions.

While accepting dark nights and hardships, the lyrics gently resonate as they convey the importance of finding value in living and small lights within them.

Released in March 2024, this work seems open to various interpretations depending on the listener.

No matter the situation, it gives you the courage to face life’s challenges.

It’s a perfect track especially for those who want to listen calmly and thoughtfully, or who feel in need of positive energy.

THE REVOPorunogurafiti

PornoGraffitti “THE REVO” Music Video (TV Anime “My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON” Opening Theme)
THE REVOPorunogurafiti

It’s a powerful rock number themed around a “revolution of the mind,” used as the opening song for the anime My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON! It’s perfect for karaoke practice to hone expressiveness, rhythm, and how to project your high notes.

The overall range is E3–B4, which isn’t too high compared to other Porno Graffitti songs.

Still, if you lose dynamics and contrast, it won’t be fun to sing.

To produce a solid, centered tone like vocalist Akihito Okano, focus on your lower abdomen (tanden) and the speed of your breath—you’ll use more air than you think.

Also, keeping your facial muscles lifted like Okano makes high notes much easier to hit.

When you sing, add momentum and project your voice clearly into the distance!

VivacePorunogurafiti

"If It's Kanadebia, We Know: Decarbonization" 30-second Version

This commercial introduces Kanadevia’s environmental initiatives, powered by its technological capabilities, set in Sweden—one of the world’s leading countries in sustainability.

Through Yuka Kageyama’s presence, it showcases what technologies are used and how they impact the environment, while also sharing thoughts directed toward the future.

The song that further emphasizes the strong, forward-looking hope depicted in the visuals is PornoGraffitti’s “Vivace.” Its refreshing sound, featuring the tones of a piano, leaves a strong impression and clearly conveys a positive sense of hope and momentum that drives you forward.

Century loversPorunogurafiti

It’s a party song by PornoGraffitti.

Besides being a staple at their live shows, it was actually performed at a countdown concert as well.

During the intro, the whole venue joins in with the “Fu-Fu-” call-and-response, which feels amazing!
