From here on, I’m going to introduce a bunch of wonderful songs performed by the popular VOCALOID, GUMI.

You might have the impression that she’s mainly used for rock-style tracks, but of course that’s not all.
They’re all masterpieces where various Vocaloid producers let their musical sensibilities explode.
There are so many that it’s hard to introduce them all.

Have you ever stumbled over something and felt like giving up, or been overcome with sadness? This is a song I want you to listen to at times like that.
It makes you feel that there’s someone watching over you.
GUMI’s wistful voice and the piano are a perfect match, and it might just bring you to tears.
World Lifespan and the Last DaySuzumu

This song depicts the day before the world reaches the end of its lifespan.
While it conjures up the bleak reality of the world’s end, in truth, the world doesn’t end at all, and the next day goes on as usual, everyday life continuing just the same.
Its thought-provoking lyrics are defined by that contrast.
Masterpieces Sung by GUMI: Recommended Popular Vocaloid Songs (31–40)
Carnivalotetsu

It’s a gothic-sounding track.
Ominous sounds and lyrics with a distinctive worldview.
If you like this kind of atmosphere, you’ll find it irresistible—it’s crafted with near-obsessive attention.
Once you hear it, the melody will linger in your head for a while; it’s a Vocaloid masterpiece I can wholeheartedly recommend.

The Vocaloid producer Scop, known for Pinky Promise, wrote and composed this song.
It’s about someone who grew so tired of constantly seeing their own filth in a filthy world that they developed mysophobia.
The illustration is by Avogado6, whose distinctive style is also a major draw.
It was released in 2013.
Drunkenness UnknownGUMI

Recently, the number of Vocaloid types has increased, and Vocaloid songs now often appear at the top of the charts.
“Yoikure Shirazu” is a masterpiece leading today’s Vocaloid scene.
This track is frequently used on platforms like TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
Despite its simple, downbeat backing track, its catchy vocal line makes a strong impact, making it especially popular for stylish videos—even among those designed to deliver an instant surprise.
334 enemiesKonata P

This work by the Vocaloid producer Konata-P—also known for “Crayon” and “My Rules of Love”—was released in 2012.
It features an upbeat four-on-the-floor foundation, jazzy piano phrases, and a guitar tone that pushes forward with compelling intensity.
The razor-sharp drum patterns are cool as well.
The lyrics describe the loneliness of being by oneself, a feeling everyone has experienced at some point and can’t help but relate to.
By the way, the title “334” is a Japanese wordplay that sounds like “sabishii” (lonely).
MegMeg☆Fire Endless Nightsamfree

Recommended for Eurobeat lovers.
This track by samfree—a Vocaloid producer known for his wide-ranging musical style—was released in 2009.
He also created “Luka Luka★Night Fever,” so some of you may have recognized this as a samfree song just from the title.
The energetic sound arrangement and lyrics that seem to express burning passion are especially striking.
It’s a GUMI song you should definitely listen to when you want to boost your energy.
