From here on, I’m going to introduce a bunch of wonderful songs performed by the popular VOCALOID, GUMI.
GUMI was developed based on the voice of Megumi Nakajima, who works as a voice actress and singer, and is characterized by her human-like vocal quality.

You can ponder the meaning behind it, or simply let the cool beats move your body—either way, it’s a masterpiece.
Incidentally, it’s also a collaboration with another overseas Vocaloid producer, Circus-P.
FragileNuyuri

An addictive, stylish four-on-the-floor track that sings of wanting to be loved even when you’re weak.
It’s a work by the Vocaloid producer Nuyuri—also known for “Fixer” and “Inochi Bakkari”—released in 2016.
The melody is understated, yet the emotion that comes through is overwhelming.
It’s the kind of song that makes you hold your breath as you listen.

It’s Kojirō’s breakout work, with excellent tuning of GUMI that makes it easy to listen to.

When asked “What song do you think of when you hear GUMI?”, many people would probably name this one.
It’s a track by Hachi, a legendary figure in the Vocaloid scene.
Released in 2013, it drew a lot of attention as his first new upload in nearly three years at the time.
It’s an irresistible rock number with a lively rhythm, featuring a sound arrangement that feels like opening a toy box.
The song deals with an eternal farewell, and each word in the lyrics seems packed with emotion.
It’s also a piece that has inspired many derivative works, such as “utaite” cover videos.
