Window sills and walls transformed! Paper-cutting ideas to color your Halloween (21–30)
Spiderweb with pumpkin

This one features pumpkins around a spiderweb—and even a skull! Fold your origami paper into a triangle three times.
Then, partially open the last triangle fold about halfway to create a crease.
Next, sketch the spiderweb, pumpkins, and skull, and cut along the lines with scissors.
The spiderweb section is especially delicate, so be careful not to cut parts you need.
Once you’ve removed the unwanted sections, unfold it to reveal the design—done! Try displaying it as part of your Halloween party decorations.
A pumpkin in a spiderweb

This is a cute paper cutout with four pumpkins lined up at the center of a spiderweb.
First, fold the origami into a triangle three times.
Draw the spiderweb from the outside in, and finally draw half of a pumpkin at the center.
You’ll be making some very fine cuts, so be careful not to make the spiderweb strands too thin.
Since you’ll also draw eyes and mouths on the pumpkins, it’s better to make them a bit larger.
Slowly unfold at the end to finish.
If a child is making it, using larger origami paper might make it easier.
Bats and spider webs

Add a slightly eerie vibe to your Halloween party with a kirigami design that combines bats and a spiderweb! First, fold a sheet of origami paper into a triangle, then fold one end to the side and the other end upward.
Turn it over and fold it in half, then sketch the bat and spiderweb.
Draw the spiderweb spreading outward from the center, and sketch bats around it.
After that, cut along your sketch and unfold to reveal the design! When unfolding, do it carefully so it doesn’t tear.
Frankenstein

When it comes to classic Halloween monsters, it’s got to be Frankenstein! The stitches on his forehead and the bolts sticking out of his body are his trademarks.
In this paper-cutting idea, we’ll use green origami paper to make Frankenstein’s face.
First, fold the origami paper in half and sketch Frankenstein’s face.
It’s easier to cut if you draw the parts on the larger side.
Try to draw features that enhance the eerie vibe, like droopy, sunken-looking eyes and a big nose.
A big spider

Here’s a simple paper-cutting idea for making a spider.
Fold a sheet of origami paper into a triangle three times, then draw six small triangles and one semicircle—prep done.
After that, just cut along the lines with scissors and you’ll end up with a big spider! You might wonder, “How do you get a spider without drawing one?” But the spider shape will clearly emerge within a diamond-shaped frame.
Spiders are a classic Halloween decoration, so try linking a few together to make a garland or use them as accents for wall decor.
Have fun putting them to use in different ways!
