A jack-in-the-box with a ghost that pops out

Here’s a craft idea for a jack-in-the-box where a ghost pops out of a box.
Let’s make an item that will liven up Halloween parties and events.
Cut a milk carton so the spout and bottom are removed, then cut the remaining section into three equal parts.
Make slits along the fold lines, thread a rubber band through them, and attach black construction paper.
Add Halloween illustrations like a ghost or a jack-o’-lantern to complete the inner parts.
Open another milk carton by cutting one side, then attach it to the spout section to form the outer box, and decorate it with construction paper to make the base.
Place the inner parts inside the base and hold them down with your hand; when you let go, the paper pops out—enjoy the surprise mechanism as a fun toy.
Curly Yarn Ghost

Here’s a simple craft idea using a paper tube.
Just draw a face on the tube and wrap yarn around it—super easy! Tape down the beginning of the yarn with cellophane tape, wrap it around and around, then at the end, tuck the yarn under itself, cut a small slit in the paper tube, thread the yarn through, and tape it inside.
It’s so easy that even small children can enjoy drawing faces and making their own designs.
Besides pumpkins and mummies, try making black cats, Frankensteins, and all sorts of characters!
The ghost that’s looking this way

Your child is sure to be captivated by this curious little ghost that always seems to be watching! All you need is a toilet paper roll, a permanent marker, and scissors.
Lightly flatten the roll, draw a ghost on it, and cut out the eyes.
Then, on the inside of the roll where the cutouts line up, draw the pupils—and in no time, you’ve got a googly-eyed ghost.
If you cut out two spots, you can also make a cute cat that watches you from any angle.
It’s also fun to make your child’s favorite character!
Bat wreath

Let’s make a Halloween wreath using orange and purple felt or chirimen fabric, yarn, and honeycomb balls! The main bat is a bit detailed to make, and when cutting the styrofoam or using a craft knife or box cutter, be sure to handle them carefully.
Wrap yarn around the thick paper base, then attach the bat, a printed Halloween castle, and the honeycomb balls with a hot glue gun to finish it off! Besides the bat, you can also customize it with pumpkins, spiders, skulls, or black cats—whatever you like.
Halloween yo-yo

A Halloween yo-yo you can make and play with together with kids.
Try this craft that can also be used for brain teasers and training.
Roll up a sheet of newspaper cut to half size, then wrap it with two sheets of orange origami paper.
Put the crumpled paper into a plastic bag, shape it, and secure it with tape.
Attach illustrations made from colored construction paper to the outside of the bag, then add origami and a rubber band to the top to complete the yo-yo.
By changing the origami colors and the construction-paper illustrations, you can enjoy making various designs like ghosts, bats, and more.
