Hanakappa Songs: Anime Theme and Insert Songs. Opening and Ending Track List (1–10)
PAN-PAKA-PAN!SUPER☆GiRLS

The Season 4 opening theme is “PAN-PAKA-PAN!” Even from the title, you can already feel a happy vibe.
It’s a song that fills you with courage, with heartfelt thanks to parents, friends, and teachers, and a bright message that says, “If we’re together with our friends, we can go anywhere!” The track was performed in rotation by units from iDOL Street, including SUPER☆GiRLS.
A Little MiracleTokyo Joshi Ryu

The ending theme for Season 4 (October–March) is “Chiisana Kiseki” (“A Small Miracle”).
As with “Onnaji Kimochi” and “Taisetsu na Kotoba,” the vocals are performed by the girls’ dance and vocal group Tokyo Girls’ Style.
This song is a pep anthem you’ll want to listen to when things aren’t going well or when you’re facing an insurmountable wall.
While the melody is a bit more mature for a Hanakappa song, its positive lyrics are something we definitely want children to hear!
Echo! Yoo-hoo!DOZ

This is Pattern 2 of the second season’s ending theme, “Yamabiko☆Yahho!” DOZ is a Korean hip-hop unit.
Although it’s an ending theme for children, it’s characterized by a pop and sophisticated style.
In the anime, Sugiru-kun and Momokappa-chan’s older brother were dancing hip-hop.

Well, of course—March of the New GenerationMinxZone

As the opening theme for Hanakappa, the song “Sorya Sorya Soujan ~March of the New Generation~” aired in the first half of the 2012 season.
Its colorful sound and gentle vocals brightened the world of Hanakappa.
MinxZone, the three-piece band with a female vocalist who created the track, gives it a slightly different vibe from the other opening themes, but the upbeat lyrics will put even adult listeners in a happy mood.
Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winterhanakappa

“Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter” is a chant-like song that’s sung when Hanakappa makes the flower on his head bloom.
With easy-to-remember lyrics and a fun, cheerful tune, it’s hugely popular with little kids.
Many parents and children probably copy the moves and dance along, right? The cute choreography makes it fun no matter how many times you sing it!
Happy thingsShimatani Hitomi

This is Pattern 1 of the second season’s ending theme, “Ureshii Koto” (“Happy Things”).
The relaxed tempo and Hitomi Shimatani’s vocals are very soothing, putting you in a calm and peaceful mood.
The lyrics are gentle and lovely, and I think they’re overwhelmingly more popular with adults than with children.
Gur☆Maze Yeah!!hitomi

This is Pattern 3 of the Season 2 ending, “Guru☆Maze Yeah!!”.
The official dance video features choreography that even small children can easily imitate, making it a song you can sing, dance to, and enjoy.
It’s an upbeat, bright, and fun track, so I imagine many kids like this song.
