Magic tricks with a handkerchief: crowd-pleasing tricks for parties and performances (21–30)
A handkerchief from an empty tube

This magic trick reveals a handkerchief from a tube that’s supposed to be empty.
First, make two tubes using construction paper.
Roll one into a regular cylinder, and roll the other diagonally so it forms a megaphone shape.
Insert the megaphone-shaped tube into the regular cylinder and glue it so it won’t move.
Because the inner tube is slanted, one end will have a hollow space.
Place the handkerchief in that hollow, and you’re ready.
While being careful not to show the side with the handkerchief, let people check that the tube appears empty.
Then pull the handkerchief out of the tube to perform a surprising magic trick!
A magic trick where a handkerchief disappears!

Here’s a magic trick—one that even small children can master with a bit of practice—where a handkerchief disappears.
You hold the handkerchief in your right hand, form your left hand into a tube, and push the handkerchief firmly into it.
The handkerchief should be inside your left hand, but when you open your hand… it’s gone! The secret is to wear a thumb tip—something that looks just like a thumb and is slightly larger than your own—on the thumb of the hand doing the pushing.
You actually stuff the handkerchief into the thumb tip, then put the tip back on your thumb.
Be careful about the angle when you show your hands; if you flutter your hands too openly, the trick will be exposed.
A handkerchief that passes through a cup

Put a handkerchief into a cup, wrap the cup with another handkerchief, and tie the opening with a rubber band.
Yet the handkerchief you placed inside comes out from the bottom of the cup.
Of course, there’s no hole in the cup.
The trick is simply that the cup is turned upside down, but you need a technique to flip it without the spectator noticing.
Card passing through a handkerchief

This is a magic trick where a preselected playing card passes through a handkerchief and appears.
The key to the method is how you handle the chosen card.
It requires a technique called top control, but don’t worry—there are simpler methods than the one shown in the video.
As long as you have a handkerchief and a deck of cards, you can perform it, making it perfect for an impromptu act at a party.
The magic that sets the handkerchief mouse in motion

It’s a cute magic trick where you tie or fold a handkerchief into the shape of a mouse, and the mouse hops around.
It’s a charming trick that delights not only children but also women, so be sure to learn how to do it!
Handkerchief Hole Transposition: Astonishing Safety Pin Magic

This is a simple magic trick you can do with just a handkerchief and a safety pin.
If the safety pin, which should be properly fastened, moves without enlarging the hole, it’s sure to amaze your audience.
Once you get the hang of it, it’s said you can even do it without modifying the safety pin, so give it a try.
Ghost Handkerchief

A perfectly ordinary handkerchief starts moving on its own like a ghost—the handkerchief magic trick.
All the “magician” does is simply fold the handkerchief one corner at a time, in order.
They don’t seem to be putting anything inside, yet once the handkerchief is folded, it somehow starts to wiggle.
You can’t help but imagine something spooky, like a ghost slipping in when it was folded.
Try it yourself if you dare—what on earth is making the handkerchief move?
