Magic tricks using a handkerchief: crowd-pleasing tricks for parties and performances (41–50)
Bending Handkerchief

A magic trick that’s mysterious yet easy: a handkerchief bends as if it has a will of its own.
Roll the handkerchief into a long strip, hold it in one hand, and give a cue like “Bend!” or make a motion as if you’re pulling it with your other hand in the air—then, for some reason, it bends with a wobble.
The method is simple: just move the thumb of the hand holding the handkerchief behind the cloth where it can’t be seen.
Be sure to keep your thumb hidden.
Adding a bit of showmanship, like casting a little spell before you move it, makes it even more exciting!
Magic newspaper! A magic trick where the handkerchief placed inside a newspaper disappears.

This is a magic trick where you use a magic tube to push a handkerchief into a rolled-up newspaper; when you blow on it and open the newspaper, the handkerchief you supposedly put in has vanished.
The key is the magic tube, which secretly retrieves the handkerchief that’s been placed over the newspaper.
Beforehand, place a thin stick, such as a chopstick, inside the magic tube.
After you roll up the newspaper, discreetly move the stick from the tube into the rolled newspaper.
Then place the handkerchief so it covers the stick, and insert both the handkerchief and the stick back into the tube to retrieve them.
To avoid arousing suspicion about the tube, it’s recommended to show the inside a few times at moments when the handkerchief and stick aren’t inside.
A handkerchief transforms into a cane

This is a cane-and-handkerchief magic trick that you can easily try using magic props.
Wave the handkerchief and—suddenly—a cane appears, a fun effect that will liven up the crowd.
The prop uses a cane called an “appearing cane”; beginners should use a plastic model.
To entertain people, you need a playful mood that makes you excited too.
Exaggerate your patter and gestures with big, over-the-top reactions, and stage it in a flashy way.
Fourth-Dimensional Handkerchief

Various items pop out from a handkerchief that supposedly hides nothing.
If you produce something far larger than the handkerchief could possibly contain, you’ll get a round of applause.
You’ll need practice and acting skills to keep the secret hidden in your palm from being noticed.
In conclusion
We introduced some magic tricks using a handkerchief.
Among them were tricks combined with card magic and ones using coins, right? There were also tricks that involve audience participation, so performing them should make it even more enjoyable.
Make sure you fully understand the secret behind each trick and master the magic!
