Let me share an idea for making a no-sew book cover.
It’s easy to make, so it’s great as a kids’ craft too.
First, cut a piece of felt slightly larger than the size of the book.
Once the felt is cut, fold both ends inward and glue them down to finish the cover.
You can use two colors of felt to make a bicolor design, and adding a ribbon bookmark would be cute as well.
If a solid color feels too plain, make some felt motifs and stick them on.

Prepare simple snap clips.
Cut two pieces of felt with lining to match the size and shape you want to make.
Decorate the felt with lace, ribbons, and buttons.
Adding embroidery would also make it look cute.

Let’s make it in the shape of the small caterpillar from the popular children’s book The Very Hungry Caterpillar! Cut red felt to fit your baby’s head: make one piece a half-circle, and the other a half-circle with a small semicircular opening in the center.
Attach purple felt antennae for the caterpillar, then glue the two red felt pieces together.

Let’s make a key cover out of felt without using a needle or thread! Once you have felt in your favorite color, cut out two half-circle pieces sized to fit the head of the key you want to cover.
