People use them in all kinds of ways—sticking them in planners, using them as labels—and with so many types available these days, once you start using them, you’ll want to collect all sorts of designs.

And if you fall in love with stickers, chances are you’ll want to try making your own with your favorite patterns at least once.

So in this article, we’ll share some DIY sticker ideas.

The classic method uses OPP tape, but we’ll also introduce other simple techniques, so feel free to use them as a reference!

You can easily make stickers using cute patterned origami, wrapping paper, or design paper! First, cut the origami into your favorite shapes.

Next, stick OPP tape onto a piece of parchment paper, then place the cut origami pieces on top.

Finally, apply another layer of OPP tape, press out the air, and cut each piece out with scissors—and you’re done! When cutting, it helps to leave a small margin around the design.

When I find cute masking tape, I can’t help buying it since it’s affordable! If you have washi tapes you haven’t used or designs you don’t love, why not try making flake stickers? All you do is stick your favorite washi tape onto a piece of parchment (cooking) paper and cut the sheet into whatever sizes you like.

It’s an easy way to mass-produce stickers, perfect for sharing as little gifts with friends.

Use them for collages, add accents to your planner—stick them wherever you like and have fun!
