Silent Audio Source – Nashiko (Kaonashiko)

I really enjoy quiz shows and often watch them on TV.

How about you? I’m always impressed by the knowledge and quick thinking of Ujihara from Rozan and Takuji Izawa.

But the one I think is the most amazing is Kazlaser.

He’s so funny and yet so quick-witted… I wonder if a comedian’s brain and quiz skills are connected somehow.

If it’s Kazu, he could probably breeze through even slightly tricky trick questions.

The classic trick question for elementary school kids, both then and now, is probably: “What kind of pan can’t you eat, even though it’s called ‘pan’?” Everyone, try quizzing each other with your best trick questions and enjoy your lunch break!

Game Intro Quiz

[Game Intro Quiz] Opening Titles of Nintendo Games [How Many Can You Get Right?]
Game Intro Quiz

This is a quiz where a short snippet of the BGM that plays on a game’s opening title screen is played, and you have to guess which game it is.

There’s a pattern where, after playing many times, the title screen becomes routine and you focus so much on the main game that you end up forgetting the BGM.

It tests whether you’ve really listened to the music and whether you’ve been enjoying the game from the moment it boots up.

Since the title screen isn’t a familiar scene unless you’ve actually played the game, it’s also important to have a broad range of gaming experience.

Who was the first governor of Hyōgo Prefecture?

The Life of Hirobumi Ito, the First Prime Minister from Hikari City (Part 1)
Who was the first governor of Hyōgo Prefecture?

Speaking of Hirobumi Ito, he’s also well known as the man on the old 1,000-yen bill, a politician memorable for his distinguished beard.

He served as Prime Minister four times in the Meiji era and left significant achievements, but few people probably know that he was actually the first governor of Hyogo Prefecture before that.

His experience in local politics may have proved useful later when he became Prime Minister.

Since it’s a bit unexpected, posing it as a quiz could help it stick in people’s memories and serve as a handy tidbit or conversation starter.

Girly Power Quiz

[If You Get It, You’re a Trendy Girl!?] Girl Power Quiz!
Girly Power Quiz

Keeping a keen eye on the latest trends and incorporating them can be seen as proof of strong “girl power,” right? This quiz lets you show just how sharp your antennae are with trend-related questions that tie into that same girl power.

The questions will focus on this year’s popular fashions and hotspots, while also including things that seem poised to take off next.

Even if you can’t answer some of them, listening carefully to others’ answers should help you start building your trend knowledge from here.

Cipher Quiz

[Cipher Quiz] Solving it within the thinking time is extremely difficult! It’s a race against the clock!
Cipher Quiz

A cipher quiz that tests mental flexibility and quick thinking.

If you’ve tried popular escape rooms in recent years, you probably know just how challenging—and fun—they can be.

Mental flexibility might not be directly necessary for scoring high on tests or passing entrance exams.

But flexible thinking reflects strong innate intelligence.

Training it will make your life much richer from here on out.

In fact, this may be the very skill that’s valued at work.

It’s a great idea to start developing it now!

Which prefecture comes last in the Japanese syllabary (gojūon) order?

Quizzes on this topic often come in various forms.

For example, questions like “How many prefectures have the character for ‘river’ (川) in their names?” Among such questions, identifying the prefecture that comes last in the Japanese syllabary order isn’t something that comes to mind right away.

The answer is Wakayama Prefecture, and it could be fun to segue from there into a series of quizzes about Wakayama.

The point is simply to find a hook that sparks interest; I hope high school students will take any opportunity to become curious about many different things.

True-or-False Quiz

[Challenging! Difficult!] True/False (Maru-Batsu) Quiz
True-or-False Quiz

When it comes to quizzes, true-or-false (◯×) quizzes are a classic.

You choose between two options: whether the statement presented is true or false.

Even if you’re confident about a question, the moment the answer is revealed can be nerve-wracking! This very simple format can be enjoyed by everyone from children to seniors.

For high school students, we recommend this collection of challenging true-or-false questions introduced here.

It’s packed with exquisitely tricky items that make you think, “Now that you mention it, that sounds right… but it might be a trick question.”

Which person was the 16th president of the United States, known for the Emancipation Proclamation?

The person known as the 16th President of the United States who freed Black slaves through the Emancipation Proclamation is Abraham Lincoln.

He is regarded as one of the greatest presidents, and his decisions brought about profound changes in the United States thereafter.

Although Lincoln achieved many accomplishments, he was assassinated in August 1864.

He shares many similarities with President Kennedy, which has drawn attention.

This quiz is a good opportunity to relearn Lincoln’s life and the history of the United States.

What is Picasso’s full name?

Picasso’s full name is so long it’s hilarious.
What is Picasso's full name?

Pablo Picasso is known as the founder of Cubism, but did you know his full name is incredibly long? Even if you’ve heard it’s long, being asked to recite it from memory would be nearly impossible.

It’s almost like Jugemu from Japanese rakugo.

It’s also said that Picasso’s father was an art teacher and curator, and that after recognizing Picasso’s talent, he stopped painting himself.

With not only his name but many other intriguing anecdotes, Picasso is well worth looking into.
