Murder On My MindYNW Melly

This is a song released in 2018 by YNW Melly, a young Florida-born rapper born in 1999, memorable for the way his gold teeth shine when he opens his mouth.
Sadly, in February 2019 he was arrested as a suspect in a murder case.
While the truth is unknown, the song also drew attention because its content is said to resemble that incident.
I’m Not RacistJoyner Lucas

This MV, uploaded at the end of November 2017, sparked major debate.
The perspective is completely split between the first and second halves: in the first half, a white man starts with a disclaimer like, “I’m not racist, but…” and goes on to complain.
In the second half, the Black perspective responds to each of those points one by one.
The track has no flashy elements at all—only the raw, impassioned shouts resonate deeply.
Peter PiperRun-D.M.C.

A hip-hop classic representing RUN-DMC, the supergroup that brought hip-hop to the masses.
It’s famous for its skillful sampling of Bob James’s masterpiece “Take Me to the Mardi Gras.” And this track itself is such a classic that it has been sampled by others too! If you haven’t heard it yet, this is a must-listen.
Keep Their Heads Ringin’Dr. Dre

The track produced by Dr.
Dre, a leading figure in West Coast hip-hop, was released in March 1995 as part of the soundtrack for the film Friday.
Its lyrics, which skillfully express the energizing power of party music and the artist’s own lifestyle, are especially striking.
The hallmark G-funk sound—featuring a heavy bassline and smooth synthesizer tones—blends seamlessly with the interpolation from The Sequence’s “Funk You Up.” The song was also a commercial success, reaching No.
10 on the Billboard Hot 100.
It won Best Rap Video at the MTV Video Music Awards the same year.
Still cherished as a nightlife staple, it’s a perfect pick to boost your mood or for a drive with friends.
Bounce BackBig Sean

A song about learning from mistakes and rising from every setback in life.
It’s a single from American rapper Big Sean’s 2016 album “I Decided,” and it’s been called a soundtrack for underdogs.
