Toward the lightMr.Children

This is a track released as an advance single from the 7th album, “DISCOVERY.” With a somewhat dark, heavy atmosphere, it was created around the same theme as the previous song, “Endless Journey,” and they are often performed back-to-back at live shows.
The intermittently inserted reversed vocals are a distinctive feature.
Black Boots ~oh my friend~SOPHIA

This is the eighth single by SOPHIA, a rock band formed in 1995, and is considered one of their signature songs.
The ‘friend’ sung about in the lyrics was someone close to vocalist Mitsuru Matsuoka who passed away at a young age.
It’s a somewhat wistful song, written while recalling that friend as they once were.
Days in rosy huesTHE YELLOW MONKEY

The Yellow Monkey’s 19th single, known as “Iemon.” It marked Kazuya Yoshii’s return from a hiatus, featuring a notably different production style from their earlier work.
And in 2016, The Yellow Monkey reunited! They’ve released new songs, and it’s exciting to see what they’ll do next.
fireworksaiko

It’s a truly heartrending ballad that likens the rhinoceros beetle—seen as strong among insects but, once its shell is stripped away, actually fragile and perhaps a lonely creature—to the singer herself, who puts on a brave front and falls in love to protect her own heart.
Because aiko composed the song under the mistaken belief that the rhinoceros beetle is a winter insect, it became a winter-themed song despite its title.
At that speedthe briliant green

A band formed by Shunsaku Okuda and Ryo Matsui, who were classmates at Kyoto Murasakino High School.
They invited vocalist Tomoko Kawase, who graduated from Meitoku High School, at a live house and made their major debut.
People younger than me might recognize her better by the name Tommy february6, right? This is the band from when Tommy february6 made her major debut.
It has a slightly downer vibe, but the melodies and lyrics go down easy, and I highly recommend them.
