The TV anime Our Love Has Always Been 10 Centimeters Apart is based on the creative unit HoneyWorks.
The song chosen as the ending theme is their “Tokyo Winter Session.” Sung by the characters in the show, it’s a track that evokes the feeling of Christmas and New Year’s.
It’s a dance tune with an impressive pop sound laid over a house-style beat.
Sing it at karaoke and it’s sure to get everyone hyped!

HoneyWorks’ “Tokyo Winter Session” is a song about spending winter events like Christmas and New Year’s with someone you love.
Released in 2017, the track was used as the ending theme for the anime “Our Love Has Always Been 10 Centimeters Apart.” The song also features a star-studded cast of voice actors, including Hiroshi Kamiya, Haruka Tomatsu, and Yuki Kaji, who voiced the characters.
Its dialogue-style lyrics, which feel like real interactions between people in love, and the heart-pounding effort to convey one’s feelings make it feel like you’re watching a story just by listening.
It’s a song that fills winter romance with excitement and fluttering anticipation.
Tokyo Autumn Session feat. Yuu Setoguchi, Natsuki Enomoto, Sota Mochizuki, Akari Hayasaka, Haruki Serizawa, Mio Aida (CV: Hiroshi Kamiya, Haruka Tomatsu, Yuki Kaji, Kana Asumi, Kenichi Suzumura, Aki Toyosaki)HONEY WORKS

The song “Tokyo Autumn Session feat.
Yuu Setoguchi, Natsuki Enomoto, Sota Mochizuki, Akari Hayasaka, Haruki Serizawa, Mio Aida (CV: Hiroshi Kamiya, Haruka Tomatsu, Yuki Kaji, Kana Asumi, Kenichi Suzumura, Aki Toyosaki)” included on the 5th album “Sukisugite Yabai ~Confession Executive Committee Character Song Collection~.” It’s a memorable number with lyrics that depict love growing over time.
None of the parts have a very wide vocal range, and the tempo is relaxed, so it should be relatively easy to sing.
However, be aware that it’s difficult to set the key unless it’s sung as a male-female duet.
Cheeky honeyHONEY WORKS

The track “Impertinent Honey,” included on the 5th album “Sukisugite Yabai ~Confession Executive Committee Character Song Collection~.” It features the VOCALOID GUMI, with a driving drum beat and a clear, transparent ensemble that really sticks in your ears.
For a VOCALOID song, the key is relatively low, making it easier to sing, but be careful not to get left behind by the fast-moving melody.
It’s a cute yet cool, high-energy tune whose emotional lyrics will move your heart.

What’s a boy’s purpose? feat. Arisa TakamizawaHONEY WORKS

It’s a cute, highly relatable song that portrays the real feelings of girls in love—changing their hairstyle or clothes to match their boyfriend’s tastes, worrying about how quickly to reply on LINE, getting nervous about his relationships with other girls, and more.
It’s packed with the delicate emotional shifts of girls in love: the anxieties and hopes of romance, and the conflicting desire not to be possessive.
Released as a digital single in January 2023, it was later included on the March 2023 album “Hey, Loving You Hurts ~Confession Executive Committee Character Song Collection~.” It’s the perfect track for anyone who wants to shyly send a message expressing feelings they can’t usually say out loud.
The Day I Learn About Love feat. Akari HayasakaHONEY WORKS

If you’re thinking of confessing your feelings to someone you like this Christmas, I recommend HoneyWorks’ “The Day I Learn About Love feat.
Akari Hayasaka.” It’s included on their 2017 album “Nando Datte, Suki ~Kokuhaku Jikkou Iinkai~.” Akari Hayasaka is voiced by Kana Asumi.
It’s a song about sharing your feelings along with a Christmas present and discovering “love” in that moment.
This Christmas song will make your heart flutter with its world of sweet, bittersweet romance unique to youth.
The Third Pudding WarHONEY WORKS

There’s never an end to fights over food, is there? The hard rock number “The Third Pudding War” captures that intense battle over something to eat.
Produced by HoneyWorks and sung by Hatsune Miku and GUMI, the song’s lyrics depict a cheerful scene of making pudding and everyone eating it together in harmony.
But when you watch their music video, you’ll see a fierce clash between Hatsune Miku and GUMI over the pudding…
In the end, just like in the lyrics, it wraps up with everyone happily sharing the pudding.
Grudges over food are something people with siblings or large families might especially relate to.
Even if it turns into a quarrel, it’d be nice if, like in this song, everyone can sit down and enjoy it together in the end!
