Leo Ieiri's famous and popular songs

In 2012, we were introduced to singer-songwriter Leo Ieiri, who made a sudden debut with “Sabrina” and immediately ranked 9th on the Oricon chart.

Leo Ieiri moved to Tokyo at 17 and debuted a year later.

Since her debut, her popularity has steadily grown, and she now performs theme songs for many TV dramas and films.

Her name “Leo” is a stage name; it’s said to have originated when the president of her agency saw her and remarked that her eyes looked like a lion’s.

Please enjoy her beautiful, straight, soaring vocals.

Last Stageieiri reo

A track included on the first album, LEO.

Even before it was featured on the album, it had already become a live staple.

Incidentally, Leo Ieiri wrote this song when she was 14 years old.

It is said to carry a strong message of “Don’t give up.”

Leo Ieiri – “Liar” (Music Video)
Liarieiri reo

This is a sublime ballad by Leo Ieiri that beautifully captures an inner world where joy and sorrow intersect.

Included on the album “Naked,” released in February 2023, and chosen as the opening theme for the WOWOW original anime The Fire Hunter, the song was born from a collaboration with Hikaru Ishizaki.

Dramatic string arrangements intertwine with Ieiri’s emotionally rich vocals to create a piece that evokes deep empathy.

It vividly portrays, within a fantastical setting, the inner conflicts that arise from trusting someone and the emotional turbulence of protecting those you love.

When you find yourself grappling with feelings wavering between truth and lies, lend an ear to this song—it will stay close to your heart.

Bless Youieiri reo

It seems this song was born from Leo Ieiri’s feelings about her past, when due to family circumstances in her childhood she couldn’t live with her parents and moved from one relative’s home to another.

Many artists sing about how wonderful love is, but I don’t think there are many who deny love the way she does.

The powerful sound pierces the heart even more.

Hello To The Worldieiri reo

The track was created with Koichi Tabu of Superfly as the sound producer.

Leo Ieiri’s beautiful high notes resonate in your ears and lift your spirits as you listen.

It’s a cool, rock-style song that’s a bit different from her previous work.

A track included on the second album, “a boy.” It’s said to be a song that came about when Leo Ieiri took time to slowly look back on her life after moving to Tokyo.

The lyrics express her fear when she realized she was always wanting everything and just being given things, and her desire to break free from that version of herself.

miss youieiri reo

The very first song Leo Ieiri released after turning 20.

The content is a bittersweet breakup song.

The melody has a certain charm and nostalgia to it.

The music video features actress Hana Sugisaki.

The B-side track to the debut single “? Sabrina.” It sings of a bittersweet youth reminiscent of first love.

I felt that Leo Ieiri’s hallmark might be lyrics and a sound that, while new, evoke a certain nostalgia.
