“Rock da Beat,” a track from his fourth solo album “karaoke jack” released in 2001.

In contrast to Takkyu Ishino’s typically club-oriented techno sound, this song stands out for its catchy, pop-leaning vibe.

The higher-pitched tones and female vocals brighten the overall mood of the track.

It’s a great pick-me-up when you want an energy boost!

Turkish Smile Noodle. EditTakkyu Ishino

A song written for the debut collection of “Noodle,” created by stylist Kumiko Iijima and art/film director Hideyuki Tanaka.

Aimed at “people bored with today’s fashion” and “those seeking a thrill from clothing,” the brand concept distills fresh wear into a fantastical city-casual style.

The track is technopop with a faintly nostalgic mood—a revival piece.

Tavito Nanao and Takkyu Ishino—an unexpected dream collaboration.

It seems they’ve known each other for a while, and this project finally came to fruition.

Nanao’s guitar intertwined with Ishino’s synths and effects creates a delicate, tinkling atmosphere.

Would you call it downtempo or electronica? There’s also a subtly deep, dubby vibe to it.

Rapt means to be enraptured.

One white goods appliance after another makes an appearance.

Glittering yellow light pours down.

It’s never stated outright, but items that Takkyu Ishino himself feels a special attachment to—like a toilet bowl—also show up.

This is a track included on his solo album “LUNATIQUE,” released in 2016 after roughly six years, and it’s a modern technopop with a minimal structure.

I sense a melody touch reminiscent of Hot Butter’s classic track “Popcorn.”

Ninjahead (Takkyu Ishino) – Pulseman vs Sineman
Pulseman vs SinemanNINJAHEAD

Released in 1995 under Takkyu Ishino’s alias NINJAHEAD, this track features a very simple structure and arrangement, yet it’s incredibly addictive.

It has a fun, slightly quirky feel within its sense of speed—an interesting sound.

In 2017, remix versions by Emmanuel Top and Alex Bau were released.

Anthem (Takkyu Ishino Remix)Vangelis

This is a remix of Anthem, the official theme song for the 2002 FIFA World Cup, created by Vangelis, a legendary figure among synthesizer players.

It was officially released by the Japanese label Ki/oon, to which Takkyu Ishino is affiliated.

It was also pressed on vinyl, elevating it from synth-pop to techno.

By the way, among Vangelis’s many masterpieces, this track is his most popular classic!

Arek (Original Mix)Takkyu Ishino

Frunk Muller, also known as Beroshima.

Takkyu Ishino’s album “Cruise,” released on his label Muller Records.

The ornate sound that Frunk Muller excels at, and the beautifully misty scenery he evokes, feel reflected in both Takkyu Ishino’s and his own sound in the context of releasing it on his label.
