LabyrinthŌsawa Shin’ichi

Shinichi Osawa is a producer and DJ who, including his solo project MONDO GROSSO, has continued to exert a major influence on music scenes in Japan and abroad.

From acid jazz in the ’90s to electro in the 2000s, he has constantly absorbed cutting-edge sounds from around the world and distilled them through his own filter into Japan’s mainstream.

In recent years, he has scored a string of hits with songs featuring star vocalists such as Hikari Mitsushima.

From underground club floors to the forefront of J-pop, he remains one of Japan’s leading innovators, driving the scene with overwhelming quality.

DJ TeddyLoid, who is active across a wide range of genres, is well known as a remixer for Ado’s songs.

DJ KRUSH, who brought innovation to the Japanese music scene, began his career in Harajuku in the late 1980s and drew attention as a pioneer who treated the turntable as a musical instrument.

He released his first album, “KRUSH,” in 1994 and has since delivered numerous acclaimed records.

His sixth album, “Zen,” won the Grand Prize for Best Electronica Album 2001.

Through club tours across 52 countries and 350 cities, he has captivated more than 8 million people.

1 overall on the iTunes Store.

His distinctive sound blends a variety of genres, including UK garage and 2-step.

In 2016, he won “BEST GROOVE ARTIST” at the SPACE SHOWER MUSIC AWARDS.

He has undertaken a wide range of activities, such as collaborating with Chisato Moritaka and creating theme songs for films.

Influenced by ’90s J-pop he bought at used CD shops, his music creates a captivating world where nostalgia and novelty merge.
