Even beginners not used to instrumental music can enjoy listening, so we highly recommend them.

kyakkyaSawagi

Sawagi, who drew attention and thrived by performing alongside numerous visiting international artists, unfortunately disbanded in 2019.

Centered on dance music, their richly arranged sound incorporates elements of rock, jazz, funk, and electro—music you never tire of hearing.

In 2015, they even toured South Africa, underscoring their exceptional prowess.

just forgetForce of Nature

This is a masterful piece of instrumental hip-hop by Force of Nature that brilliantly captures the world of the anime Samurai Champloo through music.

It skillfully blends samples from multiple tracks, including The Blossoms’ “Just Remember,” weaving in elements of soul, jazz, and funk to create a rich, compelling sound.

Released in September 2004, this track opens the album Samurai Champloo Music Record: Impression, leaving a strong impression with its gentle yet powerful beat and wistful melody—making it an excellent choice as background music for studying or working.

SOIL&”PIMP”SESSIONS was formed by members who met at a club event in Tokyo in 2001.

Their style, which differs greatly from conventional jazz, has been described as “explosive jazz,” and the band themselves dub their genre “death jazz.” As a six-piece jazz band, they deliver a powerful sound with overwhelming explosive energy and force.

HIFANA is a duo that treats the AKAI MPC2000 sampler like a musical instrument, crafting tracks from sampled sounds.

Known for collaborations with various artists as well as with NIKE, their dance tune is “Fresh Push Breakin’.”

This is a track with sounds that evoke the summer sea, freeing your body from its constraints and letting you enjoy your time.

In the Japanese fusion scene, he’s someone everyone must know, isn’t he? Having absorbed a variety of musical influences, the resulting music is, I believe, something anyone can agree is fully convincing.
