This song portrays the flow of time and the crossroads of fate.

It was created for the soundtrack of the 2016 film “Your Name.” and was used in the climactic scene.

It is characterized by a structure that begins with a quiet piano and unfolds into a grand band sound.

RADWIMPS’s poetic lyrics merge beautifully with the film’s world, moving the hearts of many.

Singing of the feelings of two people in love, this piece is perfect for moments when you want to look back on memories with someone special or when you’re excited about a new encounter.

Summer loverSHISHAMO

Many people have either told a partner it’s over or been on the receiving end.

With that in mind, I’d like to introduce “Natsu no Koibito” (“Summer Lover”).

It’s a song released by SHISHAMO in 2016, depicting the casual scenes of a summer romance and the farewell that eventually arrives.

Because the decision to break up is stated clearly early in the song, the everyday moments that follow feel all the more heartrending.

The section in the latter half that portrays inner conflict, and the transition from there into an a cappella part, are especially emotional.

TRIPLANE is a four-piece rock band from Hokkaido.

Their song “My Darling” is a bittersweet love song included on their 12th album, NUDE POPS.

It’s one of three love songs they released over three consecutive months, along with “Sukinanda” and “Boku no Takaramono,” which came out afterward.

Among the three, “My Darling” carries a refreshing feel reminiscent of dream pop.

Its lyrically rich, beautiful words are truly something to savor!

Magic of a Summer Nightindigo la End

A gem of a love song that beautifully paints a delicate nighttime scene and a bittersweet longing.

The uniquely emotional inner landscapes of indigo la End stir the heart with a mature allure.

Featured on the single “Before We Get Sad,” released in June 2015, this track stands out with its tender melody that gently wraps a fleeting summer night, and its smooth, understated band sound.

The scents of the night city, the sounds of festivals, and faint memories of young love are portrayed with a lingering resonance, making it a song that accompanies quiet evenings with someone special or moments when you want to sink into a reflective mood.

A heartwarming love song by wacci that gently captures the everyday life of two people in love.

It portrays someone looking back on memories with their partner while browsing photos taken with a smartphone.

Many listeners will likely relate to the lyrics that say the real treasures aren’t the shots from scenic spots or fancy restaurants, but the selfies taken at home.

Included on the album “Dressing,” released in January 2025, the song was written and composed by vocalist Yohei Hashiguchi.

It’s a track that can prompt you to rediscover the importance of ordinary days and the happiness found within them.

Only onezarame

Written as the ending theme for Rurouni Kenshin, this piece is a song packed with Zarame’s blend of light and shadow.

Set to an up-tempo rock sound, it sings about the importance of the words “welcome home” and “I’m home.” It conveys the feelings of thinking of each other even when apart, and the desire to say “you’re not alone,” striking a chord in the heart.

Digital release in January 2025, CD release in March.

It might be a perfect song for those living away from family or loved ones, or in long-distance relationships.

Why not let Zarame’s vocals soothe you as you reflect on the people who matter most?

Tokimeki Part 1supittsu

Spitz is a four-member rock band that has released many hit songs, including Robinson in 1995 and Cherry in 1996.

Their Tokimeki Part 1 is a refreshing love song included on their 17th studio album, Himitsu Studio.

The song was chosen as the theme for the film Water Flows Toward the Sea, and Masamune Kusano’s emotional vocals—perfectly aligned with the film’s world—really hit home.

Its sweet melody, different from the classic pop catchiness, naturally puts you in a romantic mood as you listen.
