MoonFreeTempo

This is a fresh new sound from Takeshi Hanzawa’s solo project, which develops club music infused with elements of bossa nova and jazz.

It’s a soothing, relaxing track that transcends genres and evokes an ambient sense of sway.

WHITE SHAMANSOFT BALLET

SOFT BALLET weaves together a variety of elements—industrial, hard house, acid house—to create a uniquely distinctive world.

Among their works, this track in particular is razor-sharp, with a strong blend of electronica and rock.

This is a hidden gem by Cornelius that was released overseas.

It’s a rare track that wasn’t released on a Japanese label.

Many of his songs have the intriguing feel of experimental music, always venturing into new territory and making you excited to hear what sounds will come next.

Ship In ShipNeon

A band forging a unique path that blends techno and rock, they’re popular not only for sampling and electronic sounds but also for their live performances with a full band.

Their hallmark is glittering, flowing melodies that feel like being bathed in light called sound, and while grounded in techno and disco music, this lavish track also lets you savor a rock vibe.

OK SamplerRYUKYUDISKO

A techno unit formed by twin brothers Satoshi and Yosuke Hiroyama from Okinawa delivers a fresh, innovative sound.

The fusion of Ryukyuan music and techno is lively and rhythmic enough to make your body move on its own.

The “OK” in the title is said to stand for Okinawa.

Joe Inoue’s vocals are also a highlight.

The MultiverseHiroshi Watanabe

A house music creator also known under the names Kaito and QUADRA.

This work drew attention as the first label collaboration between TRANSMAT (Detroit) and UMAA (Japan).

It’s a track where you can savor an exquisite sound recognized by Derrick May.

Garden On The PalmKen Ishii

A techno musician known as the Techno God of the East.

In 1993, a demo tape he produced while still a student was picked up by a Belgian techno label.

Although he was completely unknown in Japan, his subsequent release Garden On The Palm reached No.

1 on the techno chart of the British music magazine NME.
