[Easy] Punishments that will get middle schoolers excited

During school recess, it’s common for everyone to play quick little games together, right?

But just playing the games can get repetitive!

To keep things fresh, many middle schoolers might be thinking about adding forfeits or punishments to the games.

In this article, we’ll introduce “punishment game ideas that will get middle schoolers excited”!

We’ve gathered ideas for punishments that are guaranteed to be even more fun than the games themselves, so use them as inspiration and have fun together!

Easier: Fun Punishments That Hype Up Middle Schoolers (1–10)

Make a funny face with all your might

Making your own funny face is fine, but if you’re embarrassed and go for a safe one, it doesn’t really feel like a punishment game.

That’s when this punishment game comes in handy! The winner forcibly turns the loser’s face into a funny face! Since it’s a full-on funny face you couldn’t make yourself, it’s pretty embarrassing, haha.

It also sounds fun to sing and make the funny face at a specific lyric! If the person doesn’t mind, it might be nice to record it on video.

You’ll probably laugh every time you watch it back!

spanking your butt

If you get the quiz wrong, you’ll get a spanking on the butt!

A gentle and easy punishment game we recommend is the classic “oshiri penpen” (a light butt smack)! Many people probably had this done to them when they were little if they misbehaved.

If it’s just a few taps, it’s a punishment that only makes you a bit embarrassed to show your butt to everyone.

If you want to ramp up the punishment-game feeling, add a time limit like 30 seconds or 1 minute! Getting hit in the same spot over and over surprisingly hurts.

Don’t hit with full force—adjust your strength and do it gently!

Communicating in cat language

Things that make you feel embarrassed are a classic for punishment games, aren’t they? Here’s one to try: a punishment game where you communicate in “cat language.” Because it has a game-like element, it’s great for keeping things fun as you go.

First, decide on a prompt.

Then the person receiving the punishment has to convey what the prompt is by using cat sounds like “meow,” and other cat-like expressions.

As a variation, you could make a rule to wear cat ears, or switch to the sounds of other animals for extra fun.

Middle schoolers love playing games together, right? But sometimes just playing isn’t enough! That’s when the “shippe” slap-forfeit is perfect.

It’s easy to do and guaranteed to get everyone hyped! Just be careful with the strength so no one feels bad.

Respect each other and have fun releasing energy with smiles.

Aim for the wrist and give a gentle snap! Let’s make fun memories together.

Put safety first, and it’ll even strengthen your bonds with friends.

Speak in baby talk

Speak in baby talk

Among punishment games, there’s a slightly humiliating one: speaking in baby talk.

It’s the kind you sometimes see on TV shows, where sentence endings like “desu” and “masu” become the more common baby-talk versions “dechu” and “machu,” right? For a short time it might be tolerable, but if the time limit is something like a whole day or until after school, it’s guaranteed to be hell.

If someone records it on video, it’ll stick around forever—a punishment game you’ll never live down.

If a girl is the one doing it, it might be better to just fully commit and make it as cute as possible.

smell one’s feet

[Prank] We tried a game where you guess the person just by the smell of their feet, and it was insanely stinky!!!!
smell one's feet

It’s a punishment game with smells that makes both the person doing it and the person receiving it feel uncomfortable.

It might be fine for people who are into smell fetishes, but since most people will find it mentally distressing, I recommend explaining the details beforehand.

There’s also a prank-style variation that’s the worst punishment: making someone smell feet sprayed with an extremely stinky spray.

If you try it, do so at your own risk.

nose tickling twist (a thin paper twist used to stimulate the inside of the nose)

Make a little twist of tissue, stick it in your nostril, and wiggle it around… Just imagining it makes my nose feel ticklish and twitchy—what a punishment game.

Are there really people who can do this without sneezing, or who can actually endure it? I’m pretty sure I couldn’t, or rather, I’m confident I’d sneeze over and over (lol).

As long as you have a tissue, you can do it anytime, anywhere—an easy punishment game!
