PiTaPaNEW!Rocket Punch

This is an original Japanese track featuring a sparkling pop sound, included on their first full-length Japanese album “Dokidoki LOVE,” released on October 5, 2022.
It’s a bright, energetic dance number that sings about a girl in love.
The second verse includes rap-style vocals, and the latter part features English lyrics, letting you enjoy various melodies and vocal approaches.
The song’s range is slightly on the higher side, so it might be good to sing with consistent head resonance.
I recommend singing with a relaxed, loose feel.
GeeNEW!shōjo jidai

Released in South Korea in 2009, this smash hit topped KBS’s Music Bank for nine consecutive weeks.
Produced by E-Tribe, it’s known for its highly addictive melody, the titular catchphrase, colorful skinny pants, and the “crab dance.” In 2010, a Japanese version was released as their second single for their Japan debut, and more people in Japan started singing it.
Of course, I made sure to memorize just the choreography for the “G” part and nailed that bit! It has a cute vibe, so you’ll definitely want to imitate it.
When singing, it might be good to use a slightly breathy falsetto-like tone.
TTTwice

Many of TWICE’s songs are ones that make you want to try dancing at least once, aren’t they? That said, quite a few are pretty challenging.
This song, which incorporates the crying emoji—“TT”—into its choreography, is relatively easy to dance among them.
Let’s start by practicing just the chorus.
When Japanese people dance, movements often become too linear, so it might help to focus on the transitions between poses and connect them smoothly.

WA DA DAKep1er

Kep1er’s big hit that represented the first half of 2022, “WA DA DA.” Many people probably watched the music video and thought, “So cool!” and “Looks so fun!” The dance cover trend is going strong on TikTok too! The choreo features well-crafted formations and has that authentic, modern K-pop feel.
The tempo is on the faster side, but the moves themselves are simple.
Even if you can’t dance the whole thing, it’s fun to focus on the unique hand movements in the chorus.
There are easy arrangement versions and detailed breakdowns on YouTube, so if a full-on copy is tough, check those out and give it a try!
DARARITREASURE

If you’re looking for a sweet pop song with irresistible danceability, we recommend this number by TREASURE.
Featured on their first mini-album, THE SECOND STEP : CHAPTER ONE, it was released in February 2022.
Centered on the theme of a crush, it portrays expressing one’s feelings through music.
It became a big hit on TikTok, with fan-made arrangement versions drawing attention.
The repeating title phrase leaves a strong impression, and the buoyant, catchy melody lets you savor the excitement of love.
Even if you’re not great at dancing, its relaxed vibe makes it easy to enjoy—why not try dancing to it with friends?
Permission to DanceBTS

I also recommend the special “Permission to Dance,” written by Ed Sheeran and performed by BTS, as an easy, feel-good song to dance to! It quickly spread and became a beloved dance track around the world in 2021.
The dynamic shifts are incredibly cool, overflowing with BTS’s star power and sleek charm, but what’s even better is how approachable it is.
The sign-language part of the choreography is designed to be friendly even for beginners.
There are many beginner-focused videos available, so check those out and give it a try.
I think one of the song’s biggest appeals is that you can enjoy it with a free spirit, without being constrained by form!
KNOCK KNOCKTwice

KNOCK KNOCK is a dance tune that captures the flutter of romance.
Released by TWICE in 2017, its choreography is packed with a friendly, charming appeal.
The footwork stepping is particularly striking.
While TWICE’s dance tracks can seem difficult, songs from this period seem to prioritize being enjoyable for everyone, so you’ll likely find them easier to dance to.
The key knock gestures and the tight, rhythm-driven movements enhance the synergy between the song and the dance, lifting your spirits! There are many videos on YouTube featuring different group sizes and patterns, so start with whatever you can and have fun!
