OMGNewJeans

No sooner had they debuted than NewJeans stirred up a fresh breeze in the K-pop scene.
This is a track they released in 2023 that drew global attention, even making headlines for setting the fastest record to surpass 10 million views.
Are they singing about unexpected joy? It feels like a love song yet carries a complex vibe, leaving room for various interpretations and perspectives.
The music video has also inspired many theories, and while its mysterious worldbuilding is captivating, their cute performance and nostalgic charm shine through as well.
CASE 143Stray Kids

The song that people say sticks in your head after just one listen is CASE 143.
It’s a track by Stray Kids, and it’s also known for being nominated at the Asia Pop Music Awards.
To better understand the lyrics, you need to know what the number 143 in the title means.
It’s actually slang for “I love you.” Once you know that, the song might sound different to you.
Also, pay attention to the chorus, which has an electronic music vibe.
Given-TakenENHYPEN

ENHYPEN, born from the collaborative audition program ‘I-LAND’ by Big Hit Entertainment—home of BTS—and CJ ENM, famous for the ‘PRODUCE’ series.
Their debut track ‘Given-Taken’ is a K-pop-style pop tune based on hip-hop, packed with a message about breaking through one’s own barriers.
It has a mysterious vibe, and the lyrics in the second verse really make you think.
With their powerful performances, I believe they’ll energize the K-pop scene from here on out!
That ThatPSY

Psy, the rapper who became world-famous for “Gangnam Style,” is from Gangnam District in Seoul, South Korea.
The son of a major corporate family, he enrolled at Boston University but developed an interest in music, transferred to Berklee College of Music in Boston, and studied music.
This is his collaboration with Suga, BTS’s rap member.
The story features Psy in the first half singing about how “Gangnam Style” was a hit 10 years ago, and in the second half Suga storms in.
Their sharp dance and rap are really cool, aren’t they?
DinggaMAMAMOO

MAMAMOO, whose popularity is rapidly rising thanks to their overwhelming performance power.
“Dingga” is a funky feel-good track that leads their mini-album TRAVEL, released in November 2020.
It delivers a “let’s all have fun” message in MAMAMOO’s cool style—so stylish! In today’s stress-filled world, it gives you a boost like topping up on vitamin D and puts you in a high-energy mood.
The friendship-like lyrics also let you feel MAMAMOO’s bond.
In the music video, everyone is amazing, but personally, Moonbyul takes the crown.
