Created through a “dream project with high school students,” it was selected as the theme song for Nettō Kōshien.
From approximately 6,000 phrases submitted by high school students across Japan, 16 carefully chosen lines were used in the lyrics.
In addition, high school wind instrument players from around the country who won auditions took part in the recording.
