Karaoke songs I want to sing in April: Classic and popular spring tunes (21–30)
Spring ThiefYorushika

This is a song by Yorushika, featuring vocalist Suis, whose clear, refreshing voice is especially captivating.
Many of Yorushika’s tracks are crafted in an exhilarating guitar-rock style, and this one also carries a breezy freshness that feels perfect for spring.
At the same time, its beauty lies in how it layers the fleeting nature of cherry blossoms with the finiteness of life.
For women with an average vocal range, the song spans a wide range and even pushes the highest notes a bit higher, so it’s a track best suited for confident singers to tackle at karaoke.
forget-me-notAwesome City Club

If you’re looking for a spring-like male–female duet, I highly recommend this song.
Awesome City Club is a band with dual male and female lead vocals: the first verse is mainly sung by the male vocalist, and the second by the female vocalist.
The chorus builds a beautiful harmony between the two that’s absolutely mesmerizing.
The choral work in the chorus is especially superb—while it’s by no means easy, if you can pull it off, it’s goosebump-inducing! Perfect for a male–female pair confident in their vocal skills.
One-room DiscoPerfume

This is a recommended song for those starting to live alone in a new phase of life.
As the title suggests, it portrays a new life beginning in a studio apartment.
While it captures the excitement mixed with anxiety about living in a new environment, its catchy vibe is quintessential Perfume, the technopop unit.
When singing it at karaoke, in addition to keeping firmly in time with the rhythm, using the voice-changing feature to create a “kerokero” (auto-tuned) voice can boost the authenticity and really liven things up.
Azure Swimnishina

In June 2022, nishina released a track noted for its delicate vocals and gentle melody.
This song is a send-off anthem infused with the resolve to pursue one’s dreams and forge one’s own path.
Like swimming freely through a clear, blue ocean, it captures the leap into a wider world.
The hopes and anxieties of young people are expressed through tender vocals and a dreamy, imaginative sound.
Included on the album “1999,” the song drew attention as a piece symbolizing a turning point for the artist.
As a new chapter begins—especially in spring, when anticipation and uncertainty mingle—this work is sure to gently nudge anyone taking their first steps into a new environment.
Dear Sir or Madam, on this day when cherry blossoms fluttermafumafu

A gem of a song that gently weaves together the bittersweetness of cherry blossoms drifting in the spring breeze and the youthful scenes of student days.
Mafumafu’s delicate vocals beautifully capture school buildings tinged with the colors of spring and the sorrow of parting with someone dear.
Featured on the album “Kagurairo Artifact” and released in March 2019, this track was created as the theme song for the website “Shonen Jumaga Gakuen.” It carefully portrays memories and regrets from school days, as well as hope for the future, offering comfort to those entering a season of new meetings and farewells.
A perfect song for anyone whose heart is wavering before graduation season or the start of a new life in spring.
bookmarkkuriipuhaipe

This is a song by CreepHyp that portrays a bittersweet farewell against a backdrop of cherry blossoms swirling in the wind.
Originally produced as the campaign song for FM802 × TSUTAYA ACCESS in 2018, it was frequently played on the radio, so many people have probably heard it.
Since CreepHyp is known for vocalist Seika Ozaki’s distinctive high-tone voice, this track may be difficult for men with a typical vocal range to sing.
For that reason, it’s also a recommended song for women to try singing.
cherrysupittsu

A refreshing, spring-breeze-like song that beautifully captures both the ache and the hope of love.
While cherishing past memories, the protagonist’s complex feelings as they try to move forward are wrapped in a gentle melody.
Packed with the charm of Spitz, this masterpiece was released in April 1996 and reached No.
1 on the Oricon charts.
It’s also included on the album “Indigo Chiheisen,” and since 2019 it has been featured in NTT East’s TV commercials.
It’s a song I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone facing new encounters and farewells, and taking a step toward the future.
Perfect for the spring season, its refreshing yet powerful message is sure to resonate.
