[Hype Songs!] Go-to karaoke hits that are easy to sing and super popular (21–30)
SaudadePorunogurafiti

One of Porno Graffitti’s signature songs, this classic captures the pain of heartbreak and a sense of nostalgia within a Latin-style melody.
“Saudade” is a Portuguese word that means “longing or nostalgia for something lost.” The overall vocal range is surprisingly narrow, from B3 to G#4.
However, the key modulates in the final chorus and the pitch rises, and the tempo is fast, so be careful not to fall behind the rhythm.
Did you know that when vocalist Okano sings, he raises his eyebrows? I definitely recommend copying this! Especially for high notes, lifting your eyebrows makes it easier to hit the pitch and produce a solid tone.
If you raise your eyebrows right when the melody changes, it helps you land the notes smoothly, so I highly recommend it!
cherry (sweet cherry; cherry fruit)Otsuka Ai

From a 2003 song, Ai Otsuka is exactly my generation.
It’s a national love-pop hit that has brightness, cuteness, and a great groove all in one.
It’s stayed popular for karaoke and is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser across generations.
When you sing it, it might be especially good to use a cute voice like Ai Otsuka’s! My usual singing voice is lower and more rock-style, but when I sing Ai Otsuka’s songs people often tell me, “Sing it in a cute voice!” (lol).
Also, there’s the classic chant in the last chorus, and I’m sure many people are waiting for that phrase! Just be aware that the repeated choruses can tire you out, so try not to overdo it—aim for a lighter delivery.
silhouetteKANA-BOON

It’s the 16th opening theme of Naruto Shippuden—up-tempo, fast-paced, and all about momentum.
For karaoke, the key points are when to breathe and how to handle the high notes.
It might be a bit tough for complete beginners, but once you get the hang of it, it really gets the crowd going.
The key is on the higher side, so it’s highly recommended if you naturally have a higher voice! Up-tempo songs may seem difficult, but once you lock into the tempo, the momentum builds and your voice comes out more easily, so it should be easier to sing than a ballad.
Sing with high energy and enjoy the sense of accomplishment when you power through to the end!
huge nuisanceyunikōn

This is Unicorn’s debut single and a signature song that humorously yet powerfully portrays the pathos of a salaryman forced into solo assignment, all set to a gritty rock sound.
The music video is also comedic and well-known! The overall vocal range is fairly narrow, from F#3 to A#4, making it a hype track you can belt out on feel and momentum.
It’s less about “singing” and more about unleashing the cries of your heart without holding back, you know? You don’t need to worry too much about pitch—just go all-in, ride the energy, and let your voice out.
Keep your throat relaxed and crank up your energy level properly.
Ephemeral yet eternal sorrowUVERworld

The first opening theme of the anime Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Season 2, which depicts the boundary between love and hatred.
UVERworld’s songs are generally tough to master, and this one is no exception, but if you can pull it off at karaoke, it’s a track that lets you become a true performer who can wield explosive emotion! The overall vocal range is fairly wide, from D#3 to C#5.
Since F4 is the most frequently used pitch on average, it’ll feel consistently high for male singers, but if you sing with solid resonance through your body, it becomes a bit easier.
Focus on resonating more in your chest than your head—this approach should suit the song well.
Breath support and explosive power are crucial, so sing with the image of projecting your voice firmly!
SAY KOU SHOWRobāto Akiyama

Ryuji Akiyama—better known as Robert Akiyama—is not only a comedy performer but a multi-talented figure active in many fields.
In fact, Akiyama has strong vocal skills and can write and compose music as well.
The song “SAY KOU SHOW” was born from conversations among the members of Robert, and it also drew attention because the music video was directed by Hiroshi Shinagawa.
The title uses wordplay to tackle a topic that’s hard to talk about openly, and while the lyrics are downright crude, the song has an indescribably compelling flavor.
If you plan to sing it at karaoke, it’s best to save it for when you’re with friends who are okay with edgy material—so keep that in mind!
NINE LIVESchōtokkyū

This is a dance number by Cho Tokkyu (BULLET TRAIN) released on September 24, 2025.
The song’s theme is the proverb “A cat has nine lives,” and it’s filled with cat-inspired words.
Cho Tokkyu often has high-pitched songs, but this track, NINE LIVES, doesn’t keep pushing into ultra-high notes, so once you lock into the rhythm it should be quite singable! Since it’s a twin-vocal song, some parts might be tricky to sing solo timing-wise, but it’s a really cool track, so definitely use it to hype up the karaoke room! In general, you’ll get a steady, cool tone if you resonate in both the head and chest, so try placing a hand on your chest to feel the chest resonance as you sing.
By the way, TAKASHI, Cho Tokkyu’s vocalist, raises his eyebrows quite a bit when he sings.
It also makes it easier to hit the pitches, so give it a try!
