Celebrate the kids with an impactful performance! Here are four balloon art ideas.

Balloon art is the craft of creating various shapes and designs using balloons.

After inflating the balloons, twist and tie them to make animals or flowers.

It’s great to interact and communicate with the children during the making process so everyone has fun together.

From simple to complex pieces, it can be enjoyed at various levels, making it a highly recommended idea.

Silhouette Quiz

[Magic & Quiz] 3 Activities for Birthday Parties [Nursery/Kindergarten]
Silhouette Quiz

If you have a box wrapped in thin paper, you can easily play a silhouette quiz.

Please choose familiar items for the children, such as scissors from the classroom or things that every household has.

The lively atmosphere of the children calling out their answers will liven up the birthday party.

If you rotate toys or craft tools while showing their silhouettes, the children will make lots of discoveries and get excited.

Even if a question is a bit difficult, thinking it through together might lead to an answer popping out.

[Birthday Party] Going Out with a Magic Umbrella

How about having the birthday child dance in front of everyone with a June-themed item—a cute umbrella motif? Children who are four or five years old will likely enjoy it and dance with confidence.

It’s like a little recital for the birthday kids—so adorable.

The children watching will also have fun, admiring the birthday child who’s become a bit more grown-up and getting captivated by the dance.

It will take a little practice, but that’s exactly why, after the party, they’ll feel, “I did it!” and “That was fun!”

Mysterious Tunnel

Birthday Party Staff Performance: “The Mysterious Tunnel”
Mysterious Tunnel

There’s something mysteriously appealing about slightly dark, enclosed spaces like tunnels and caves that sparks children’s sense of adventure and curiosity.

This time, we’re introducing an activity that uses such a tunnel.

It’s based on the popular picture book “Henshin Tunnel” (Transforming Tunnel), where repeating a single word causes the beginning and end to blend together and change into a word with a different meaning.

For example, when a kappa enters the tunnel and you keep repeating the word “kappa,” the sequence “kappa, kappa, kappa” shifts into “pakka, pakka, pakka,” and the kappa transforms into a horse as it exits the tunnel.

It makes you want to say it out loud over and over again, doesn’t it? You can enjoy these unique wordplay transformations together with the children by saying them out loud, so please give it a try!

Boomwhacker Music Show

October 2023 Birthday Party Performance: “Boomwhacker Music Show”
Boomwhacker Music Show

A Boomwhacker is a tube-shaped percussion instrument that originated in America.

Each tube is tuned to a specific pitch according to its length, and it produces sound when you strike it against a table, chair, or your knee while holding it in your hand.

A small group can gather, each person holding two Boomwhackers, and perform several songs together.

The distinctive sounds and rhythmic feel unique to Boomwhackers are likely to stimulate children’s sensibilities.

Since they make sound just by striking them, no special skills are required, making them easy for children to try.

It’s also recommended to work on them with the older kids after the performance.
