Kids Will Get Excited! A Collection of Dance Song Ideas with Easy-to-Follow Rhythms (71–80)

Doraemon

Everyone can start dancing right away!! We tried dancing to Gen Hoshino’s “Doraemon”!
Doraemon

A song by Gen Hoshino that wholeheartedly captures the world of Doraemon, the beloved anime adored by children.

Released in 2018, this track was used as the theme song for the film “Doraemon the Movie: Nobita’s Treasure Island” and also as the opening for the TV anime series.

Its poppy, comical melody makes you want to start dancing.

Since it’s a familiar tune for kids, they can dance to it with ease and affection! There’s dancing in Gen Hoshino’s music video as well, and many simplified versions have been released—be sure to check them out for reference.

Doraemon: Make My Dreams Come Truemao

Yume wo Kanaete Doraemon, featured as the opening theme of the universally known anime Doraemon, was released in 2007 as mao’s debut single.

Its poppy, cute melody is memorable and instantly familiar to kids of all ages.

Because it’s a song many children already know, even those who don’t usually dance can enjoy moving along to it! There are also plenty of dance routines with simple choreography designed for kids, so be sure to use them as a reference.

Rock, paper, scissors with pumpkin

I tried dancing: Rock–Paper–Scissors with a Pumpkin!
Rock, paper, scissors with pumpkin

Our recommendation for a Halloween party is “Guu Choki Paa de Pumpkin.” It was sung on the children’s variety show “Shimajiro no Wao!” The choreography incorporates rock, scissors, and paper from the game Janken, making it easy for little kids to dance along.

The lyrics have a playful, wordplay feel, and the matching choreography is super cute while still being easy to perform.

Dress up in your favorite costume for Halloween and try singing and dancing along!

March of the Shiny Bunny

Mana Ashida / Pika-Pika Bunny March #PikaPikaBunnyMarch
March of the Shiny Bunny

Actress Mana Ashida, who amazed the public with her exceptional talent since her child-actor days, released the song “Pikapika Usagi no March.” It’s included as the B-side on her 2011 single, released when she was seven years old, “Suteki na Nichiyoubi ~Gyu Gyu Good Day!~.” The cute choreography that matches the pop tune is also a big draw, and many kindergartens and nursery schools used it as a dance number or in scenes for their pageants.

Since it’s the dance that seven-year-old Mana performed, the choreography unfolds in a way that even small children can easily follow, in line with the lyrics.

Do your best to dance it so you won’t lose to little Mana back then!

Poupelle of Chimney Town

Poupelle of Chimney Town - Kids Dance Version
Poupelle of Chimney Town

This song, sharing the same title, is sung by Rozarina and serves as the theme for the film adaptation of the picture book “Poupelle of Chimney Town,” illustrated by Akihiro Nishino of the comedy duo King Kong.

The lyrics evoke scenes from the story of “Poupelle of Chimney Town,” and the charming melody is genuinely exciting.

It seems there’s also an official dance for this song, making it a perfect dance number for children to perform.

With some creativity in the costumes, it could become an adorable dance performance.

Jewel Up Karen-chan

Matched Dr. Namiki and Jewel Up Karen-chan’s dance to Sakura Gakuin’s “Animalizm.”
Jewel Up Karen-chan

Both her hair and dress sparkle☆ Here’s the song and dance of Karen-chan from Jewel Up, a cute new friend of Licca-chan.

Many women played with Licca-chan dolls when they were children, right? The song is super cute, and the dance features a series of glittering steps, so it’s highly recommended for girls! There are also song and dance videos from her other friends, so be sure to check them out.

Kera Kera Rock-Paper-Scissors

[Dance] The Kerakera Rock-Paper-Scissors dance is trending for being cute [Choreography Video]
Kera Kera Rock-Paper-Scissors

Kerakera Janken is a song that lets you enjoy dancing while playing rock-paper-scissors.

The three-member music unit Kerakera released it in 2014 as a double A-side single together with STATION.

True to the group’s name—Kerakera, inspired by vocalist MEME’s bright smile—it’s a cheerful, energetic number that’s also popular with kids.

Even children who feel they’re not good at dancing will likely join in with a smile, since the song builds on the familiar game of rock-paper-scissors.

It’s an easy, fun, high-energy track that everyone can enjoy.
