Haro Hallowin Win is about to start!Mori Asami

It’s the perfect song to kick off a Halloween party.
It starts with eerie sound effects but quickly shifts into a bright, bouncy rhythm—that contrast is part of its appeal.
The lyrics feature classic Halloween characters like ghosts, pumpkins, and witches, creating a world that excites children.
Choreography is by Asami Mori, whose expertise in gymnastics shines through in the ease of movement.
Released in September 2020 on the album “Halloween SONGS,” with lyrics by Shinpei Kaneko and music by Toshihiko Shinzawa.
Its roughly two-minute length also makes it easy to enjoy with full attention.
Dance with kids in costume, and the excitement on Halloween day will surely reach its peak.
Yo-kai Exercise No. 1Dream5

Speaking of Halloween, you think of ghosts—and when you think of ghosts, you think of yokai! This is the song that was used as the first ending theme for the anime Yokai Watch and became a social phenomenon.
Its lyrics comically blame everyday mishaps—like being sleepy in the morning or forgetting things—on cheeky yokai, a worldview that absolutely captivated children.
The track was released in April 2014 as Dream5’s 12th single, Break Out / Yo-kai Taiso Daiichi.
It was so popular it even received the Special Award at that year’s Japan Record Awards.
It’s more of an “exercise routine” than a dance, really (lol).
The moves are super simple and fun, making it perfect for dancing on TikTok in your Halloween costume.
It’s a guaranteed hit at parties with kids!

Gluttonous GhostSakushi: Murata Sachiko / Sakkyoku: Fukuda Wakako

This is a fun, humor-filled song that depicts a ghost peeking into the refrigerator in the middle of the night.
Its lyrics incorporate food shapes in a quiz-style format, and the bright, rhythmic melody is memorable.
Created by Sachiko Murata and Wakako Fukuda, the piece was also broadcast on NHK’s “Okaasan to Issho” and is beloved by many children.
It’s a great song to sing with two-year-olds while imitating the ghost’s gestures, moving your body, and using your hands to show different food shapes.
It can also be used as a sketchbook theater activity in nursery schools and kindergartens.
[Hand Play] One Little Ghost
![[Hand Play] One Little Ghost](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/r9c3tnuddZU/sddefault.jpg)
Let’s all play the hand game “Ippiki Obake” and liven up the party! Following the song, you move one hand, then both hands, then your feet—adding more body parts as you go—so it’s also a counting game.
Moving everything at the end is pretty tough…! There will likely be moments of wobbling and big laughter.
The tune of this hand-play song has a humorous feel.
Enjoy the kids’ adorable little-ghost act and have a wonderful time.
You can play as long as there’s one person to demonstrate, so while the kids are playing, other adults can prep the next activity or set out snacks—handy for keeping the party running smoothly.
Ghost Party

A fun song packed with Halloween excitement is included on the September 2020 album “Shimajiro Ages 1–2: Hit Songs.” With its bright, rhythmic melody and a delightful world where friendly ghosts enjoy a party, it sparks children’s imaginations.
The energetic vocals by Shimajiro and Mana Ogawa are another highlight.
This track is perfect not only for Halloween-season events but also for daycare and kindergarten activities, as well as family parties—any occasion where kids can sing, dance, and have fun together with their friends!
Knock knock knock knock, Hello Halloween!

This is “Ton ton ton ton Hallo Halloween,” a Halloween-themed arrangement of the familiar fingerplay song “Hige Jiisan.” The melody is the same as “Hige Jiisan,” but the lyrics and accompanying hand motions are changed for Halloween.
Instead of turning into a grandpa or a tengu like in the original, you transform into Halloween favorites like a pumpkin, Frankenstein, and Dracula.
The hand choreography also changes to match each character.
Although scary monsters appear, it’s an easy fingerplay that even small children can enjoy without getting frightened!
Rock, paper, scissors with pumpkin

Our recommendation for a Halloween party is “Guu Choki Paa de Pumpkin.” It was sung on the children’s variety show “Shimajiro no Wao!” The choreography incorporates rock, scissors, and paper from the game Janken, making it easy for little kids to dance along.
The lyrics have a playful, wordplay feel, and the matching choreography is super cute while still being easy to perform.
Dress up in your favorite costume for Halloween and try singing and dancing along!
