Vegetable SistersAKB48
Vegetable Sisters is an adorable music video where each AKB48 member sings while dressed up as a different vegetable.
It was included as the B-side to AKB48’s 2010 smash hit Heavy Rotation.
The song was also used in a commercial for the vegetable juice Yasai Ichinichi Kore Ippon, with the members appearing in the same outfits as in the MV.
In the song, the members fully embody their vegetable roles, introducing lots of veggies while singing about keeping a smile on your face and doing your best today.
There’s a dance that perfectly matches the song and costumes, so it’s also recommended to wear similar outfits and perform it for events!

The song that sings about the idea of “Let’s eat vegetables to feel energetic and happy!” is this one, “Every Day, Ve-ge-ta-bles!!” It’s sung by Emi Yoshida, who performs as a singing vegetable sommelier.

This is the “Vegetable Song,” which sings about all the great things that come from eating vegetables.
The singer is Reina Nakanishi, an artist known as Princess Reina, who is popular with children mainly in Okinawa.
Many kids do understand that eating vegetables makes you healthy, but it’s still hard to reach for them… Being healthy means you can energetically play with your friends.

Tonton Tomato-chanina i nai i nai baa!
Ton-Ton Tomato-chan, featuring a round, red tomato, is a song from the E-Tele program Inai Inai Baa!.
It’s a playful, sound-filled tune using tomato-themed wordplay that makes both kids who love tomatoes and those who don’t feel happy when they listen.
In the song, you spend fun time with Tomato-chan—playing together and even taking a bath.
