FollowMartin Garrix & Zedd

Born in 1996, Martin Garrix from the Netherlands is one of the leading young figures in today’s EDM scene.
In April 2022, he made waves by releasing Sentio, his first album focused specifically on club music.
Here, we’re highlighting Follow, a track that was released ahead of the album in March 2022.
It’s a collaboration with Zedd, the massively popular producer and DJ who was born in Russia and raised in Germany.
The explosive synth riffs and unforgettable, beautiful melodies are simply outstanding, and there’s no doubt they’ll make you want to hit the dance floor the moment they blast through the speakers.
In fact, this is the first time Garrix has ever released an album under his own name, so if you like the track, be sure to check out the full album as well.

Gloomy HeartNNHMN

When you think of techno music, a danceable image often comes to mind, right? So I’d like to introduce a downer track as well.
The music unit NNHMN tackled the theme of inner darkness in their song Gloomy Heart.
It’s crafted so that fragmented phrases unfold in step with suspicious, synth-driven sounds.
And when you listen all the way through, you should grasp the message NNHMN wants to convey.
By the way, they’ve released tracks in a variety of styles, so it’s fun to explore and compare their other songs too.
BelievePickle

This track samples Louie Vega & Barbara Tucker’s “Believe in Me.” It’s by Pickles, a mysterious music project that suddenly appeared and caused a stir in the house music scene.
This is one you should experience with both the music and the music video.
Reflecting the global situation during the COVID-19 pandemic that began in 2020, the piece mirrors the times.
True to the word “Believe,” it’s crafted to lift your spirits as you listen.
Turn up the volume and enjoy!
We Don’t NeedPiero Pirupa

In today’s music scene, even pop music has started using drops.
A drop is like the chorus in electronic music, where a memorable riff that defines the track makes its appearance.
It’s safe to say that electronic music is what sparked this trend.
That said, a drop loses much of its appeal without a build-up—an introductory section that sets it up.
This track, “We Don’t Need,” features a particularly distinctive build-up.
Its structure—shifting from a 1970s funk-style build-up into a modern drop—delivers a powerful impact.
Techno Is BackScooter x Harris & Ford

If you’re into techno music, you should definitely give “Techno Is Back” a listen.
Even the title—“Techno Is Back”—radiates confidence, doesn’t it? This track is by Scooter x Harris & Ford.
Set over a pretty intense sound, it delivers a message of “let’s go all out and get hyped.” Another highlight is how the title phrase is woven into the song’s most memorable moments.
Silence of Love ft. Jesse Boykins IIITiga & Hudson Mohawke

A perfect track for the deep of night—that’s “Silence of Love.” The acid house rhythms woven by Tiga and Hudson Mohawke stir the listener’s heart.
And the soulful vocals of Jesse Boykins III, hailing from Chicago, add even greater depth to the music.
While the melodic side is often overlooked in today’s techno scene, this track might shatter that perception.
A sensational cut from their collaborative album “L’Ecstasy,” it also features standout artwork by Wolfgang Tillmans.
With vocals resonating over a high-energy beat, it offers fresh discoveries for music fans of all kinds.
Opening a new door in dance music, “Silence of Love” will take you straight to the front lines!
BlossomWordcolour

Wordcolor, a newcomer to the techno scene who began attracting attention in the 2020s, excels at sound collage—a technique that stitches together melodies of various styles like patchwork.
His new track, “Blossom,” builds on that same collage-driven approach that first brought him popularity.
With its rapidly shifting moods, it’s a piece that defies easy description.
Please experience the complexity of Wordcolor’s musicality with your own ears.
