A hype-raising band number! Energetic male-vocal tracks (21–30)

AVALANCHEUVERworld

This is a dramatic, weighty rock number chosen as the theme song for the drama Avalanche, starring Go Ayano! Released as a single in November 2021, it was shaped through close alignment during production with Ayano and the director, built on a foundation of mutual trust.

Rage at a world where injustice prevails, and a fierce will to confront it without abandoning hope even in despair, resound alongside TAKUYA∞’s soul-stirring cries.

Even while bearing loneliness and pain, the powerful resolve to move forward by trusting one’s comrades is sure to set your heart ablaze.

Spurt syndromer10-FEET

10-FEET – Spurt Syndrome (Anime 'Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray' Cour 2 Opening Theme)
Spurt syndromer10-FEET

This song, released in October 2025 by 10-FEET, a three-piece rock band from Kyoto, was written as the opening theme for the second cour of the TV anime Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray.

Crafted with the image of characters stepping into battle, the track features exhilarating, fast-paced guitar riffs and a dynamic arrangement that plays with tension and release.

The lyrics express—through music—the mental strength and sharpened focus needed to surpass one’s own training records, resonating with anyone sprinting full-speed toward their goals.

It’s a fiery rock tune highly recommended for those who continue to take on new challenges.

MatatabiWANIMA

MatatabiWANIMA

WANIMA, a punk-leaning rock band boasting top-tier popularity.

They have many great songs, but the one I especially recommend is “Matatabi.” It’s the theme song for the anime “Night of the Living Cat,” and, for WANIMA, it’s unusually shaped into a pretty hardcore melody.

In the middle of the track, there’s a shout that’s almost like a scream, and it’s one of the most satisfying moments in the song—so if you sing it at karaoke, it’s sure to get the crowd going.

Bye-Bye to youUVERworld

Bye-Bye to youUVERworld

Speaking of UVERworld’s songs, they tend to stay in the high register throughout.

This track, too, keeps high notes from start to finish, and the pitch moves up and down quite a lot, so if you’re not used to singing high, there’s a concern you might end up straining your throat.

The high note that pops up at the end of the chorus jumps to a C5, so it might be good to start by practicing just that part to hit it explosively.

To produce a powerful voice like vocalist TAKUYA∞, you need solid core support! If your body wobbles while riding a train or bus, it means your lower abdomen (tanden) isn’t engaged.

That will make your singing waver too, so try singing with firm strength in your lower abdomen.

It’s a difficult song, so don’t rush—practice steadily!

THE DAYPorunogurafiti

PornoGraffitti “THE DAY” Music Video (Anime “My Hero Academia” Season 1 Cour 1 OP Theme)
THE DAYPorunogurafiti

PornoGraffitti is famous for their high vocal range, and I think “THE DAY” is one of their highest songs, especially at the top end.

The tempo is quite fast too, so if you’re going to sing it, it’ll be tough to keep up unless you really memorize the song first.

Also, vocalist Okano mostly uses chest voice and belts the high notes in his natural voice, but the highest note at the end of the chorus, C#5, is in falsetto.

That switch is so cool, isn’t it? Since the song is up-tempo, if you’re not comfortable with high notes, I recommend lowering the key by one or two steps instead of starting in the original key.

Rather than focusing on pitch at first, start by getting used to the speed! You might get caught up in just getting the notes out, but don’t forget to breathe!

X JAPAN – Kurenai (Tokyo Dome 2009.05.03) [1080P HD]
crimsonX JAPAN

X JAPAN’s famous and high-pitched song “Kurenai” starts off so relaxed that you might find yourself thinking, “Is this really that song?” For the record, that’s exactly what I thought the first time I heard it (lol).

It might be easier for women to sing in the original key, but it’s quite high for men! Toshl’s vocals are truly incredible—he not only growls but also maintains solid high tones throughout.

The key to hitting high notes is your core.

If your body wobbles, your voice won’t project forward, so make sure to support from your lower abdomen (tanden).

There are parts that feel like shouting, but if you actually just shout, you’ll wreck your throat.

Try to resonate in your head with a “Kyaa!” kind of image instead.

This is definitely a song you’ll want to add to your karaoke repertoire!

Frenzy Hey Kids!!THE ORAL CIGARETTES

Noragami ARAGOTO OP theme THE ORAL CIGARETTES “Kyouran Hey Kids!!” Music Video
Frenzy Hey Kids!!THE ORAL CIGARETTES

This work has gained popularity for its overwhelming rock sound and lyrics that skillfully blend English and Japanese.

THE ORAL CIGARETTES’ powerful performance and Takuya Yamanaka’s soaring vocals leave a strong impression, and this track, released in November 2015, was also chosen as the opening theme for the TV anime Noragami ARAGOTO.

The song sparked a huge reaction, surpassing 100 million views on YouTube, and is included on the album FIXION.

With its intense, powerfully thrilling development, the track is perfect for blowing off steam at karaoke.

You can belt it out and savor the liberating feeling that makes you want to shout from the bottom of your heart.

It’s an energetic song in which the band’s expressive power and the anime’s worldview fuse beautifully.
