Since the first selection in 2015—Kobe (Hyogo Prefecture), Hakodate (Hokkaido), and Nagasaki—Kobe has been replaced by Kitakyushu, and Hakodate has been replaced by Sapporo in Hokkaido. Kitakyushu offers night views of industrial zones, Sapporo is known for vistas from the mountains, and Nagasaki features beautiful scenes that include illuminated architecture and the sea.
